Interesting:

On August 30, 2023, AJN Resources Inc announced that it had entered into a binding term sheet with Future Mining Company SARL, FUTURE which is a limited liability company headquartered in Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), for a option to acquire an indirect stake of up to 70% in the exploration permit PR14537 located in the territory of Manono, province of Tanganyika in the DRC.

It appears the cashed-up bogan, assuming he off-loaded the pad, was caught short of the readies:

The term sheet states that AJN will pay $100,000 to Future within 10 days of the date the term sheet has been fully executed,

At least that's my reading of the article:

Where are we with the 10-year agreement in 2022, particularly on lithium between the DRC and Klaus Peter Eckoff's AJN Resources Inc?

September 8, 2023
Kiki Kienge

By Kiki Kienge

It was a contract that was signed on May 05, 2022 by the Democratic Republic of Congo represented by Adèle KAHINDA MAHINA and Antoinette N'SAMBA KALAMBAYI, respectively Minister of State, Minister of Portfolio and Minister of Mines and by Mr. Klaus Peter ECKHOF, President of the Canadian company, AJN RESSOURCES INC.

A contract considered to have blurred contours by the Civil Society Organizations and Platforms, which in a statement of May 31, 2022 had clearly denounced this agreement and asked the Head of State, Félix Tshisekedi and the Prime Minister, Sama Lukonde Kyenge, to cancel this contract, which does not fit into the spirit of the vision of the President of the Republic; "the people first".

"The representatives of Civil Society had recommended orally to the Cabinet of His Excellency the President of the Republic and to the Government of the Republic to avoid any form of assembly called CONGO RESOURCES with AJN Resources because it is perceived as a kind of sale of the assets of certain public mining companies in difficulty for the benefit of individuals in violation of your vision for the management of our natural resources. This was clearly included in the Civil Society Declaration of April 15, 2022. "Press release from civil society.

A 10-year agreement signed by DR Congo with the AJN Ressources Inc group on non-publicly cited permits, which violates the rules of transparency, procurement procedures, the requirement of the tender by the mining code and Article 52 of the same Code, which grants only 5 years of research and renewable only once.

For civil society, this agreement entitled CONGO RESOURCES signed with the AJN Resources group, is a sale of the assets of Congolese public mining companies in financial difficulty for the benefit of a few Congolese and foreign individuals, to the detriment of the Congolese population who are constantly sinking into a misery that lacks name despite its wealth.

With this signature, CONGO RESOURCES and AJN Resources by Klaus Peter ECKHOF, a Canadian company that looks like a commissionaire (according to civil society) should mobilize funds on the stock exchange to finance gold and lithium mineral geological research work in the Democratic Republic of Congo for 10 years, contrary to the RD Congo Mining Code.

Is it a coincidence or a well-planned strategy only a few months after the filing by DATHCOM and the Australians of AVZ MINERALS of the feasibility study with the Congolese state services, studies totally funded by AVZ MINERALS and which have internationally valued Congolese lithium, that it be added to the CONGO RESOURCES contract with DR Congo lithium?

The signatory organizations and platforms of civil society accuse the Canadian group, AJN Resources, for not having expertise in raising and mobilizing funds on the stock exchange for well-known mining projects that have culminated in Congo, although its president Klaus Peter Eckoff worked as a geologist or manager of a few companies in the country.

"The signatories of this press release (...), they had patriotically recommended to the Government of the Republic, on the basis of the objective elements, to reject any request for collaboration or any agreement with AJN Resources Inc, because it is not a known mining company that can now say that it operates such a mine in a country or province of our country; it has never operated a mine, it is a trader whose some partners are known in the mining community and those of Civil Society not as miners. "Press release from Civil Society.

Some concerns of Civil Society about AJN Ressources and Klaus Eckoff:

  • Civil Society's complaint against AJN RESOURCES on the Toronto Stock Exchange on April 30, 2020;
  • The various alerts from local civil societies and the media, and in particular the letter addressed to the Prime Minister, Head of Government, on May 13, 2022 by the Coordination of the Civil Society of the Chiefdom of Alur-Djuganda (SOCIDJAL), Territory of and Province of Ituri concerning: "Withdrawal of the ZANI-KODO Concession from the AJN Resources-RDC contract" for clearly advanced reasons;
  • The recent operations of the President of AJ Resources Inc with another Canadian company named Tantalex (now or becoming Tantalex Lithium Resources which does not officially have a lithium or tantalum license in the DRC) referred to which AFRICA INTELLIGENCE speaks of January 24, 2021 in its publication entitled: "Klaus Eckoff returns to tiptoe in Manono lithium. ”
Civil Society's recommendations to the Head of State, Félix Tshisekedi and PM Sama Lukonde Kyenge:

  1. We requested the benevolence of His Excellency the President of the Republic, Head of State, for the simple termination of this partnership contract that sabotages his mining vision and ignores his recommendations for good governance of the mining sector beneficial to the Congolese;
  2. We recommend that both houses of parliament call on the signatory ministers to clarify the contours surrounding the signing of this contract;
  3. We ask His Excellency the Prime Minister Head of Government to suspend all performance of this contract and to carry out due diligence on all members of the government and officials involved in this file;
  4. We recommend that the Government of the Republic work with credible and financially viable Majors like other countries including Zambia, Botswana, the Republic of South Africa that have done so and are doing so with First Quantum, De Beers, Anglo American for research, exploration and mine development without falsely mentioning a false monopoly to justify working with unknowns and commission agents in the sector;
  5. We ask the Minister of Mines to publish in full different Mining Permits concerned by this contract;
  6. We ask Civil Society in its diversity to remain mobilized to defend the interests of the country and support the Head of State's vision of cleaning up the natural resources sector.

Here is the other sus internet site that is posting bullshit about trying to change the BOD. Another article full of deceptive and misleading misinformation.

These are the two main sites that the Chinese and other corrupt conspirators use to spread their lies. There are one or two others (not counting tommy tb’s AFR) that they also use…. No doubt we’ll see them pop up soon

THE WHITE HOUSE

Joint Statement from the United States and the European Union on Support for Angola, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s commitment to Further Develop the Lobito Corridor and the U.S.-EU Launch of a Greenfield Rail Line Feasibility Study

Today, on the margins of the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII) event at the G20 in India, the United States of America and the European Union welcomed the recent commitment by Angola, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to develop the Lobito Corridor connecting southern Democratic Republic of the Congo and northwestern Zambia to regional and global trade markets via the Port of Lobito in Angola.

To accelerate this work in partnership with the three African countries, the European Union and the United States are teaming up to support the development of the Corridor, including by launching feasibility studies for a new greenfield rail line expansion between Zambia and Angola. This represents a powerful evolution of the Partnership element of the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment with a collaborative approach that could be replicated in other strategic corridors around the world.

The U.S.-EU partnership will upgrade critical infrastructure across sub-Saharan Africa to unlock the enormous potential of this region. We are excited to join forces to generate economic benefits with our partners in Angola, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia.
The partnership will combine financial resources and technical know-how to accelerate the Lobito Corridor development, including investments in digital access and agricultural value chains that will increase regional competitiveness. This announcement shows PGI and Global Gateway at work, bringing partners together to finance multibillion dollar projects that will help create local jobs, decrease the carbon footprint and improve local economies.
As an immediate next step, the United States and the European Union will support the Governments in launching pre-feasibility studies for the construction of the new Zambia-Lobito railway line from eastern Angola through northern Zambia. This builds on the initial U.S.-led support to refurbish the railway section from the Lobito port in Angola to the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Once transport infrastructure connecting all three countries is fully operational, the Corridor will enhance export possibilities for Zambia, Angola and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, boost the regional circulation of goods, and promote the mobility of citizens. By significantly reducing the average transport time, the new railway will lower the logistics costs and carbon footprint of exporting metals, agricultural goods, and other products, as well as for future development of any mineral discoveries.

The United States and the European Union plan to explore cooperation in three specific areas: i) transport infrastructure investments; ii) measures to facilitate trade, economic development and transit; and iii) support to related sectors to fuel inclusive and sustainable economic growth and capital investment in Angola, Zambia and Democratic Republic of the Congo in the longer term. Specifically, this includes developing clean energy projects to increase the power supply to surrounding communities, supporting diversified investment in critical minerals and clean energy supply chains, extending digital access, growing agriculture value chains to enhance local food production for the region’s expanding population and to address global food insecurity, as well as augmenting local workforce training, support for small and medium enterprises and economic diversification.
