Noticed the CAMI portal has updated again from "Actif" to "Actif-Transformation PR en PE"

So back to north and south 221 squares from last week, now the status also changed back to essentially in the process of converting to Permis de exploitation (PE). Maybe signs of something to happen? who knows lol

Good find horse. I wonder if we will receive a new decree now from minister of mines.

It's funny how we are so utterly pessemistic there days, rightfuly so I might add.

The following is just a guess.

I think maybe the decree has been issued and they havent even bothered to inform AVZ about it, maybe out of caution, or even out of spite.

When the 2 decrees were recinded a couple of months ago, I got the feeling that they didn't want to inform AVZ, but it was leaked to Zijin, who informed Tommy, who released the info, and the poor BoD found out this way. (I think)

Anyway...
My intuition is telling me there's news comming this morning (EDIT: Or Not). I got my fingers crossed.

I think the status on the portal was previously Actif Transformation PR en PE there for a quite a while before all the shit hit the fan so I don't know that having it reinstated now necessarily means something is about to happen in the next day or so

Sorry to be the partypooper....just cautious given our experience over the last year

Still it's encouraging that just maybe things are finally moving in the right direction

That Felix has retained certain characters in light of clear evidence of malfeasance by these public officials can only mean one thing: corruption is tolerated in the name of maintaining power.

One also imagines the Americans will take a dim view of his cabinet reshuffle. Their MOU with Zambia and the DRC battery council explicitly nominated eliminating corruption as a key requirement of that agreement.

This must now be in jeopardy. Does the US simply walk away and cede all influence to China, or continue working with Felix despite looking like they've been played as mugs. Alternatively they may seek to support and promote another political candidate more suited to their aims.

And what of Jules now he's been effectively side-lined after presenting his damning IGF file on Cominiere. The deliberate inaction on the report completely undermines Felix's mantra of cleaning up corruption.

Finally, in a country of extreme poverty due to entrenched corruption one struggles to overlook Felix's $300k wrist watch. Whether such ostentatious displays of wealth is blatant arrogance and sheer stupidity, it's emblematic of everything wrong with the DRC political class. Corruption is condoned at the expense of their long-suffering population. God help them. No one else will.

These were renewed last year for 5 years on a roll-over, with 50% being relinquished as per requirements of the Mining Code, due to no activity being undertaken in the first tenure. See the details in one of the 2 last Annual Reports, which might be quicker than trying to find the posts already covering this issue. The outside bits relinquished were taken up by the local Congo firm, who have actually done some work for AVZ

Apologies TITS, it’s been a while since I let Nuts know there is more to the Mantle than just swearing…. There’s a fair amount of genuine emotion, depth, belief and frustration required for a Mantle worthy post…. Really I’ve given up any hope of trying to win it back from @Winenut.

Some on here have said we shouldn’t have been drilling the last few months, but my thoughts are that once we get the ML granted we will be releasing a few announcements to support our share price and these drill results are just one of those.

If I was keen enough I might even PM @TheCount and see if we could try and calculate our own numbers on what a new BFS might look like, perhaps the hardest part would be adding all the extra zeros into the spreadsheet…. What do you reckon TC?
