Also they might want to batch everything up in one go and run various logging tools down the line also, this could change the time to getting prelim results.

I’m sure once they’re down to depth Bruce will release some information as to how they plan to proceed and set expectations.

Drilling down now, they use the muds to create hydrostatic pressure which acts against the formation, equalising it somewhat. Couple of days to hit depth I reckon, they’re flying along!

In an ideal situation you can have a preliminary estimate within a week, but things like the presence of hydrocarbons can drag that out - though ASN have figured that out already from previous entries so shouldn’t have too big an impact in that situation.

The pandemic situation is still dragging on a bit over there, so I’d not be unsurprised if it took a month with work backlogs and people out sick here and there etc.

I’m sure Bruce has/will do all he can to get us results asap.
You sound like you understand all this well re entry procedures, whats your back ground if you dont mind me asking ?

Oil and gas ?

Thanks for sharing

No, I work in finance and have a math and comp sci. education. I don’t mess around with my money, if I’m investing I need to learn everything, connect with the people running the show etc. When I started investing in resources I just bought and read lots of textbooks and reached out to the companies to clarify details.

Awesome , well, i am just a simple tradie, dont delve in the mechanics of operations, most of my research goes into what minerals of today are going to be required in the future, then find coys that have tier 1 prospects, relative to strip ratio, size of prospects, grade and existing infrastructure, low IRR, then i long term invest and profit along the journey.

ASN complies with the above and is a monster in waiting, the market just doesnt realise.

Just like you, i read, read and read, what my simple mind allows.

Knowledge is power!

Given that it’s daylight in this video and it’s currently midnight over there, this was a delayed tweet probably intended for this morning but didn’t go out for whatever reason.

Hopefully significant progress over the long weekend and Tuesday’s market reopen will come with a bang!

Enjoy your chocolate bunnies.

Edit: FYI - the packer device is used to block off the clastic flow.

Not long to go, brine could be flowing within days, they don’t have to drill far!

Yes, it is only about 1500 feet or about 3 easy days to get there. Throw in the cement drying and then hit the bottom of Mississippian to check the zones depth. Can't wait to have ASN publish the new resource size. should be finished on time by the end of the month.

Given the downhole temperatures and dryness out there, WOC won’t be particularly long, even given the pressures. I suspect that tweet is also a few days late, so drilling could be underway today.

Hi All

I like to match TA with FA, gives you inside knowledge in a way, usually via VOLUME.

Anyone care to list in reasonable order and potential time frame, what FA will excite Mr Market ?

Hope everyone had a great Easter break!

Can’t be long now, barring any issues they should be very very close to brine flow.

Interesting to see not much in the order book with the exception of those 11 traders doing washes back and forth. Won’t take much to rerate with such little liquidity on offer!
