0255 GMT – The headwinds in front of Air New Zealand are strengthening, says Forsyth Barr, which downgrades the carrier to underperform from neutral. Pressure is already being felt in Air NZ’s domestic and trans-Tasman business, but analyst Andy Bowley thinks long-haul demand could also weaken in 6-12 months as capacity recovers. “Air NZ’s share price has historically been very sensitive to near-term earnings momentum,” Forsyth Barr says.
