The dude on LinkedIn got 3 likes a month ago on that lie.

There is no Intel Loihi3 anywhere that my ChatGPT can find.

Quote:

The “Loihi 3” Question: Myth or Future?

  • I found one speculative mention in a site called “TrainTheAlgo.com” claiming Intel unveiled Loihi 3 on June 8, 2025, with features like “10M neurons” etc. However, that site does not appear to be a recognized authority, and I could not find corroborating coverage in reputable technical or industry sources. TrainTheAlgo
  • In contrast, no major journal articles, Intel’s official press releases, or IEEE / semiconductor trade media currently mention a Loihi 3.
  • As such, the “Loihi 3” might be a rumor, speculative projection, or early-stage internal project not yet announced publicly.
  • It’s possible Intel or its labs are working on a next-gen neuromorphic architecture, but until Intel discloses it (or peer-reviewed sources appear), we should treat “Loihi 3” claims with caution.

The hope of potential generational wealth is real
Now I know we are all across edge AI and the opportunity it presents. If I’d seen this sort of article pop up in my inbox even 2-3 years ago I would have wet my pants!
This is now a common occurrence.
We are in the right area, huge growth is about to happen, especially when they talk about a 143 billon market in 10 years time.
Question is….can we capitalise on this unbelievable opportunity???
The company is in the best position it’s ever been in but we need revenue. My wife is sick of hearing me sounding like a broken record 😂😂.
For the record, Lattice Semiconductors was the 3rd on their list.
Let’s sign some deals Seany Boy!!!

Loihi 3?? Loihi 2 is not even on the market yet.
Agreed.

Short answer: No — you can’t buy a Loihi 2 off the shelf. Intel only distributes Loihi 2 as research hardware (Oheo Gulch single-chip boards and Kapoho Point 8-chip boards) to researchers via the Intel Neuromorphic Research Community (INRC) or through institutional partnerships. Intel NCL+2HPCwire+2

What I checked

  • Intel’s documentation and press say Loihi 2 is a research chip and that Intel provides access to it (Oheo Gulch, Kapoho Point) for researchers — it’s not a commercial retail product. Intel+1
  • Intel’s Hala Point deployment (1,152 Loihi 2 chips at Sandia) shows these chips are used in research/partnership projects rather than sold to the general market. Newsroom
  • I searched common secondary/marketplaces and news/reseller channels and found no credible listings for Loihi 2 chips for sale to the public (no eBay/Surplus/Shop listings). If a chip ever appears for resale, it will be rare and likely subject to NDAs / transfer restrictions. eBay+1
How you can get access (practical options)

  1. Join the Intel Neuromorphic Research Community (INRC). INRC membership / an approved research proposal is the primary route to remote or hardware access to Loihi 2 systems. Intel NCL
  2. Collaborate with a university / national lab that already has access. Labs working with Intel (or places like Sandia for Hala Point) may collaborate on projects and can provide access. Newsroom
  3. Partner with companies / research groups already using Loihi 2 (joint projects, contract research, consulting).
  4. Use the Lava software stack and simulators. If you want to experiment with neuromorphic algorithms without hardware, Intel’s Lava framework and software simulators let you develop and prototype. Intel
  5. Watch for rare surplus / auction listings. Very occasionally hardware from research programs shows up on secondary markets or in institutional surplus auctions — but it’s uncommon, likely restricted, and you should be cautious about legal/NDAs.

Another week where shareholders are left standing in the rain without any explanation of what that whole show was about… plenty of fuel for sellers and shorters. In terms of irresponsibility, this one tops the list so far — congratulations! Instead of satisfying investors, you just keep giving them more and more reasons to be angry.

BTW… has anyone actually written an email and asked for clarification? After all, his two statements were anything but trivial, I’d say. This casts a poor light to the company..also from the perspective of a potential investor…

What's the matter, somebody chop your fingers off.

So, let me get this straight:
Years of “all good, next year we’ll laugh at these prices” posts are fine… but the truth is.. everyone is pissed but don’t want to show it because he is afraid of shitstorm from the “Brainchip army…”

…but the moment someone shows a bit of annoyance, it’s instantly labeled as negativity or betrayal? 🤦🏻‍♂️

You know… Relax, folks. Criticism ≠ bashing. I’m not calling the company trash like some do in the crapper. I’m still here, still holding. Just tired of hearing the same “broken record” as some wrote…over and over. That’s all

Saluts is offering a “Robot on Chip” Neuronaut solution for a variety of markets for space and Defence; and offers Akida as a compatible add on. At the bottom of the second page. Presenting today so hoping they get a few customers.

What I was getting at, is, why don't you contact the company. Don't expect others to do your leg work.

Because I am not well known overseas.. and others have better contact than me … that’s why… it doesn’t have to do that I want someone to do the job for me… it was a simple question… not an command to do

Looks like it may have been SCORPIUS - a successor to PLEIADES - that a euphoric Olivier Coenen had planned to let his LinkedIn network know about on Friday…

@Frangipani
And while I'm at it, I couldn't help but notice that some of your research was copied on to that other site but maniputated to cast Mr Coenen in a very poor light. A real shame given his contribution to BRN over the last 4+ years.

I would love to see us in this one:

The Scorpius is a two-seat heavy fighter developed by Roberts Space Industries Applied Innovations division. It is designed as the latest advancement in heavy combat, interception, and dogfighting capabilities. Featuring a versatile bi-wing design and an innovative rail-mounted remote turret, the Scorpius provides exceptional fire coverage for both defensive and offensive operations. It stands as the quintessential enforcer, serving as an ideal addition to any combat-ready fleet aiming to instill fear in its adversaries through the delivery of justice.
