If we get an announcement after market, that the whole car industry will use our technology we will not see the liftoff today unfortunately 😢 we have to wait until tomorrow

I was looking a youtube programme and there were 5 new technologies heads from emerging technologies.
One of them was liquid.ai
They just raised 250 million US dollars at an evaluation of 2 billions USD. The main funds are provided by AMD.
I look into the company and they looks like working on smaller language models with 1 billion to 7 billion parameters and they are developing their own LFMs ( liquid fundamental models) they also looks working in similarl capabilities as ours but they are working on existing hardwares.
Their main work is State Space Models.
I donot know where brainchip is going wrong but definately our sphere of work is much more bigger than them but our valuations are only 12.5% of them.

So they’re purely a software developer.

Looks like but their main development area is to develop small enough models.

Well then, I suppose that makes Qualcomm our enablement partner.

I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing?..
As Qualcomm could "direct" the design and development direction..

"Qualcomm Technologies anticipates giving developers on Edge Impulse’s platform the ability to target Qualcomm Dragonwing™ processors, which feature superior on-device AI inferencing, computer vision, graphics and processing capabilities [Qualcomm Developer Blog]. Integration with Qualcomm® AI Hub enhances the optimization of AI models for Qualcomm Technologies’ platforms, leading to a peak of up to 4x increased inference performance, and reduced model size and memory footprint. Edge Impulse currently supports Dragonwing QCS6490 and QCS5430 processors and is scheduled to add support for additional Dragonwing processors for industrial and embedded IoT applications. Edge Impulse will maintain its current website (branded as “Edge Impulse, a Qualcomm company”) and remains dedicated to supporting developers and ecosystem partners"

It does say Edge Impulse "remains dedicated to supporting developers and ecosystem partners" but what influence, will they bear on encouragement or accessibility, of one over another?..

Here is a reply from Aussie Super. It's a little vague but in fairness there is not a lot to go on atm.

At bit early for the US based personal.

So that acquisition happened at Embedded World where BRN will also be represented by no other than Dr. Tony Lewis bringing some goodies under his arm. As I recall, we have one BRN employee permanently based in Germany, but they are sending Dr Lewis over as enforcements with capital E!

Interesting times!

Well that appears to be conflicting a bit to the advice I received from Australian Super BUT I don’t know how you worded the question to Australia Super about the proposed potential delisting from ASX and transferring to a overseas exchange in US. I’m going to send Australian Super a email and see how much different a response I get compared to yours.

Don't know why there isn't more conversation around this because it's pretty big news as far as I'm concerned.

Acquiring Edge Impulse gives Qualcomm a competitive advantage in the edge AI and tinyML space. Edge Impulse is, as we know, a leading platform for developing machine learning models for edge devices. With this acquisition, Qualcomm gains direct access to a large developer base, tools, and AI/ML models optimized for edge computing.

Qualcomm now controls a toolchain that many developers use for AI applications and they could either continue supporting BrainChip or shift the focus to Qualcomm’s own AI solutions.

If Qualcomm sees value in BrainChip’s neuromorphic technology, it could leverage this aquiaition as a bridge for collaboration rather than competition. The question is, will they?

Pitt Street in June'24 valued BRN at $US2bill.
With all the activity validating our IP since Sept'24 and likely to continue i expect we will see another Pitt Street report later this year with a higher valuation.

Pitt Street reports are paid marketing.

They hold zero weight.

I’m not being pessimistic, just realistic. I think Edge Impulse has some key partners they work with to offer solutions in this space. Like I said, I’m just keeping it grounded—speculation has led nowhere so far, no matter how promising the product specs looked. I’ll just wait for official news. I’m done with the emotional rollercoaster. I mean, we already know BrainChip has great products and that they could be integrated into pretty much anything. Now it’s time for some real facts.
