Fascinatingly Intuitive.
Morning Chippers ,

Strange movement today , solid volume straight up then plateauing ......... thinking a big push up shortly.

On a side note.. having a look at the smouldering orifice data , all be it delayed

Volumes, as of 11:40 ish EST

ASX = 5.1 million shares & CBOE = 4.5 million shares

Just a general observation , CBOE seems to be gaining more volume passing through .

* interesting that of the of brokers that use the CBOE platform , Citigroup Global Markets Australia , along with all the other suspects appears.

* Citicorp Nominees Pty Limited currently controls 116,715,837 shares in BRN, or 5.917% of shares on issue , second largest holding on our registry .

*Citigroup are rather large ........

Citigroup Inc. or Citi (stylized as citi) is an American multinational investment bank and financial services company in New York City. The company was formed by the merger of Citicorp, the bank holding company for Citibank, and Travelers in 1998; Travelers was spun off from the company in 2002.[2][3]

Citigroup is the third-largest banking institution in the United States by assets; alongside JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo, it is one of the Big Four banking institutions of the United States.[4] It is considered a systemically important bank by the Financial Stability Board and is commonly cited as being too big to fail. It is one of the eight global investment banks in the Bulge Bracket. Citigroup is ranked 36th on the Fortune 500,[5] and was ranked #24 in Forbes Global 2000 in 2023.[6]

Citigroup operates with two major divisions: Institutional Clients Group (ICG), which offers investment banking and corporate banking services as well as treasury and trade solutions (TTS) and securities services such as custodian banking; and Personal Banking and Wealth Management (PBWM), which includes Citibank, a retail bank, the third largest issuer of credit cards,[7] as well as its wealth management business.

* Also , and this i found interesting , Berkshire Hathaway owns 2.69% of Citigroup.

Volume May be coming through Citi.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT.

Hi Esq ,

The Bank of New York Mellon hold a large percentage within the Citicorp Nominee account .

If you or any other shareholder want to know more information in regards to the holdings behind the nominee accounts , section 672 of the Corporations Act states that when a company requests a tracing notice of the ownership contained within the nominee accounts , this information is to then be provided for viewing by the general public .

Currently Brainchip are refusing to make this information accessible to the public .

Wonder why ?

All in my opinion ……

Afternoon Doz ,

Interesting indeed.

* Bank of New York Mellon are..... were .....still are our sponsoring broker in the USA on the pink slips, ADRs and singularly.

* form memory they had up to 50 million shares to to tempt customers with , to start with.

* also from memory .... thought HSBC was their conduit to access BRN stock in Australia , for BNYM American investors

* doesn't surprise in the least BRN being completely null and void supplying NO info whatsoever regarding the actual business side of things , to busy figuring out what they will extract from shareholders.

Esq.

Last week there was a seminar discussing the way forward for the Australian semicondutor industry.

Dr Cathy Foley on turning the lucky country into a smart nation

28 Oct 2024 - Australia's Chief Scientist, Dr Cathy Foley, AO PSM, presents at the Semiconductor Australia 2024 conference. She highlights Australia’s strengths in tech development and outlines a vision for a sustainable economy led by innovation.

  • Insights from Dr Foley's research, reflecting on early challenges in semiconductor development and how they influenced her career.
  • The rapid evolution of technology, and Australia's potential to lead in advanced manufacturing, particularly in the digital and quantum sectors. Dr Foley notes the importance of semiconductors, quantum tech and photonics in future-proofing the economy.
  • The need to diversify away from reliance on fossil fuels and primary materials to a more circular economy driven by innovation and sustainability.
  • Australia’s existing strengths in research and development, and key achievements in digital and quantum technologies.
  • Government initiatives and funding — such as the National Reconstruction Fund — are critical drivers for fostering innovation and supporting high-tech industries.
  • The importance of a national strategy that includes collaboration between states, territories and industry to establish a strong and sustainable technology sector.

The seminar was organized by BluGlass who have developed a "low" temperature method for plasma chemical vapour deposition.

The BluGlass CeO's comments on the fact that only 0.03% of ASX companies are in the semiconductor sector are something we should keep in mind, not that it is a surprise to us, but it shows the small pool of investors we can expect to attract. We are very much a niche on the ASX. perhaps we should try a reverse of the dot.com boom and call ourselves BrainChip Mining.

Two 4th year B.Sc. students at Cal Poly, SLO - Kayla Del Rosario and Gibson Puckett - worked on their summer intern project, which they titled “Developing a CubeSat Payload Interface Board for Neuromorphic Processing and Distributed Computing”, at the NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, CA with Axient, a company headquartered in Huntsville, AL that describes itself as a “key player in the defense, aerospace and cyberspace markets.” (https://axientcorp.com/about-us/).
According to his LinkedIn profile, Gibson Puckett has been an intern with Axient since June 2023.

One of the presentation slides of an August talk about their joint summer intern project (the platform they developed is “intended for weather balloon suborbital testing and LEO technology demonstration”), shows the Akida PCIe Board as an example for a neuromorphic co-processor:

That's not nice of YOU! If you do not want to read long posts, ignore them and scroll on. I can't remember having seen you thanking somebody for the work put into such investigation.
