BRN are going out of their way and deliberately not releasing via the ASX in order not to drive the share price up. They want to stay out of the spotlight for as long as possible i reckon before they have gained 100% of the edge market then they will release via ASX.Well Brainchip obviously don’t think so as they haven’t told the asx. I’ve emailed investor relations asking for an explanation. Bet I don’t get a reply… I would encourage others to do the same. Their email is IR@brainchip.com

I believe this announcement could have easily been released via ASX marked Non price sensitive, but they chose not to why?

My question is…why is it so important to make a non price sensitive announcement at all? The message is already clearly visible across various platforms. If the market saw it as significant as we do, the share price would go up anyway. Even small comments or rumors from various CEOs and market players can move a stock higher without any official announcement at all, simply because they casually mention something on a podcast with Joe.
I think it might move the share price up by 1–2 cents briefly, only for it to fall back to where it came from. If you ask me, that would be even more annoying.
I’d rather wait for the one big thing we’re all waiting for … without the conspiracy theories.

Lols7For7, I think you've ignored a very important fact. For the vast majority of investors on the ASX, when they want to find out information about a company, they look for company announcements on the ASX (price sensitive and non price sensitive) not social media.
BrainChip have done a job on investors, by indoctrinating them to accept that they WILL NOT put out information on the ASX (unless they deem it material), and shareholders have no choice but to suck it up, and use X, LinkedIn, Instagram, BlueSky etc etc. This is not normal behaviour for a company on the ASX. I'm not saying BrainChip should not use social media, but it should be in addition to ASX announcements.
In all the years I have been investing, I have never woken up in the morning and thought, I'd better check LinkedIn to see if anything has been released overnight for a company I'm invested in.. we'll I didn't until BrainChip.
BrainChip say they are listening to shareholders but their actions speak louder than words, they are not listening to shareholders.
I disagree with you that "the message is clearly visible", and I'd say many investors and analysts would also disagree with you.
As for the conspiracy theories, that has all been created by BrainChip, due to their non-existent IR.
@7For7 I believe that having positive announcements, showing the company growing being "price non sensitive" on ASX , then any potential investor researching info on BRN would look up ASX to read how the company is going through announcements. Unfortunately for us over 90% of ASX announcements for BRN are "change of directors holdings" and share placements etc. Doesn't look great imo. So easy for a easily available marketing tool via ASXMy question is…why is it so important to make a non price sensitive announcement at all? Happy as Larry
Everyone can read again this from the IR brief regarding announcements … everything else is meaningless
Maybe everyone should read about disclosure on the ASX website rather than from a BrainChip IR brief on their own website.
Read it in on the ASX website for full context.
BTW… kev is on work
