Hi FMF, its actually better than good. AKIDA as you pointed at gets a mention at Figure 4 (you underlined it).
The reason its better than good is that Loihi is still only in research - so that only leaves us.

Honestly, I wouldn’t rely on it anymore… we’re basically swinging from one “hope vine” to the next — from one company to another that mentions BrainChip or experiments with Akida. After so many years, we should know by now that this doesn’t really mean anything. Potential investors aren’t impressed by vague statements and name-drops. What’s been said here many times remains true: what we need now is a sustainable deal with real products that generates actual revenue. Only then will investors come back in. The share price can be as cheap as it wants — right now, we long-term investors are holding the price up simply because we’re not selling. That’s all. We don’t even need more speculation anymore… I think we’ve already slipped on that too many times, personally. IMO DYOR no financial advice

Hi FMF,

Wasn't there a BRN podcast with Dell?
There certainly was.
I've been wondering what happened with them since the podcast. They spoke once about how good the power efficiency was and that's what got them interested in Brainchip, not another word since.
Hopefully the relationship has been so quiet because they didn't want competitors knowing what they've been up to.

Our inclusion in the GR810 and the QV CyberNeuro-RT Akida Edge Box might be of interest to his department. Each government building in Sweden could have a few CN-RT Edge Boxes.

Hi All, about 8 or 9 business days and the 4C and quarterly update are released, I'm still not expecting any change, possibly a MegaChips renewal deal may surface ?

We already know our current engagements aren't producing any revenue yet, any new engagements created through CES 2026 aren't going to change the status quo, the fab delivery isn't expected until possibly around May/June all going well, so unless something comes out of left field or the shorts decide to cough up more than 0.1875 per share, well it's steady as she goes.

Sean's not going anywhere, tough luck if that's what you're hoping for, whingers.

Happy fishing....Tech ❤️

Independent cybersecurity brief white paper released about 6 days ago by the below author who is the cybersecurity industry.

Is about 9 pages but I snipped some relevant parts that I thought were worthwhile re Akida.

Liked the case study with Akida and tactical drones and the performance benchmarks table.

I think cybersecurity is our fastest path to market.

With the likes of QV CyberNeuro-RT in the Akida Edge Box, we can provide a plug and play solution which can continuously learn and be updated. This differs from "simple" software solutions which run on any old CPU not merely in the fact that it is faster, but the Akida hardware is a major part of the solution. There is a symbiotic relation between Akida and CN-RT because CN-RT has been specifically adapted to work with Akida.

In September, I shared a LinkedIn post 👆🏻 by Adam Taylor, Founder and Lead Consultant of Adiuvo Engineering as well as Owner & Organiser of FPGA Horizons, about ORA:

ORA is a comprehensive sandbox platform for edge AI deployment and benchmarking. Our catalogue of edge devices lets you test and evaluate which hardware best suits your application needs. With devices spanning Nvidia, Axelera, Hailo, and BrainChip, ORA offers diverse computing architectures. These range from traditional GPUs to cutting-edge neuromorphic processors and specialised AI accelerators. All accessible via a single interface.

Turns out Adam Taylor recently co-founded Dublin-based space tech startup Setanta Space Systems (of which he is CEO), with fellow co-founders James Murphy (CTO) and Jake O’Brien (Lead Engineer), both of whom used to work for another space tech company based in the Irish capital: Réaltra Space Systems Engineering, which “is dedicated to the design, development and manufacture of cost-effective space electronic systems using cutting-edge technologies.” (https://www.linkedin.com/company/realtra/about/)

Setanta Space is “developing edge AI for space applications”:

AI-Driven Autonomy for the Next Generation of Spacecraft

Setanta Space Systems is an Irish space technology company developing advanced solutions for satellite automation and space electronics. Our expertise spans both software and hardware, enabling us to deliver integrated systems for next-generation missions.

We design AI models for on-board anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, autonomous navigation, space situational awareness and real-time data processing. We also build space-qualified electronics, AI-ready processing platforms, and bespoke systems tailored to mission requirements, from low Earth orbit to deep space.

Services currently offered comprise Telemetry Monitoring, Space Situational Awareness (SSA) and Autonomous Navigation as well as Earth Observation (EO).

And the above-mentioned Ora sandbox is now listed as one of Setanta Space System’s products, alongside Danu, their modular onboard computer, as well as their Galaxia Space Development Board and their Galaxia Space Tile:

Note that Jake O’Brien is concurrently pursuing an “Industry-based PhD” in Computer Science with University College Dublin - the industry placement being Adam Taylor’s company Adiuvo Engineering.

In his LinkedIn profile, Jake O’Brien refers to his PhD research as follows:“Spiking Neural Networks for Space Situational Awareness and Autonomous Navigation: Leveraging Neuromorphic Hardware and Dynamic Vision Sensors”.

View attachment 94260

Now add to all this the fact that Alf Kuchenbuch loved Jake O’Brien’s December launch announcement of Setanta Space - the two of them have exchanged several LinkedIn likes in recent months, by the way.

Dot...dot…dot…
I wouldn’t be in the least surprised if Akida played a part both in Jake O’Brien’s PhD research and in at least one of the edge AI solutions that Setanta Space are currently developing.

Hopefully we will find out more before or on Saint Patrick’s Day. ☘️

And here’s the third co-founder’s LinkedIn post announcing the birth of their space tech baby last month:

Three co-founders of an Irish company - that almost demanded the use of a green triquetra (“Irish trinity knot”cf. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triquetra) as their logo… 😉

I presume Setanta Space Systems was named after Sétanta aka Cú Chulainn, an Irish warrior hero and demigod in Celtic mythology?

Alf Kuchenbuch celebrates another Setanta Space post:

I think the QV CyberNeuro-RT should show some sales this year - Defense would be handy.
After reading the Dell article posted by Andy38 and the Dell patent details posted by FMF we may well see AKIDA appear in the Dell gateway boxes and or the sensors it does inference for in 2026 or 2027.
Apart from Gateway Dell has its 'fingers' in many other pies including:
Large Prescence in Health, devices, Electronic record keeping, diagnostics, Telehealth and secure medical device connectivity (bed to network/medical team)
They don’t build the medical devices themselves — they build the edge AI that those devices rely on.
Dell also works in IOT, Smart cities, vision at the Edge, industrial, predictive maintenance, energy and utilities substations etc.
Dell obviously after an early mover advantage with Neuromorphic.
They are way bigger and diverse than most people are aware of.
