I'm Spartacus!
I see they have their .195 cent chomping bot set at 8764 today. 🤣
Setting up for poor revenue news in the 4C I imagine when all those slimy shorts will be hoping for another payday.
Push it down then boys.
I could do with a top up. 🤣
The gravy boat is pulling into view. 🤣
Bring It BrainChip!

Not specifically BrainChip related but I found this recent discussion with Coby Hanoch from Weebit about the differences around cash receipts, revenue and the different sources (licence fees, engineering fees, royalties etc), and the associated typical timelines very interesting and enlightening.
I believe this will all become very relevant to us over the coming years.
May be considered somewhat dry by some but considering how long we've been waiting, music to my ears.

No wonder it dumps…you know what’s waiting tomorrow for us….I don’t even want to think about it….
The main concern is that BrainChip now has only $13 million in cash remaining after spending the funds from the last LDA call, and will need to conduct a massive capital raise immediatly.

At least we now know who the A1500 production is for (Parson/Blueridge) and what its for (defence). No income from it in the short term though...... :cautious:

Parsons are a giant in Defence.

🍾🥂

Isn’t it crazy that an announcement with Mercedes sent the price skyrocketing, while all the other announcements go nowhere?

And those aren’t exactly small players either… what kind of mainstream investors are these?

Just moved my buy order down to 17c from 18.5c. Might as well make Hehir while the Sean shines.......

I wouldn't say massive but we will need to raise soon. There is around $11.8M available via LDA and on average a call period usually lasts 2-3 months although the last one did stretch out to around 5 mths.

More money in the bank by the next 4C would be nice.

Some big ticket items coming up and would guess the company will try to stretch payments over multiple quarters.

Tape out of both the AKD 1500 & AKD 2 (Q1 2026). Also FPGA of AKD 3 (Q2 2026)

If you compare with the last 4C, you’ll see that they already spent almost all the funds from the previous capital call. Earlier this year January, when they still had $20 million on hand, they initiated the LDA. Now, we need additional funding to cover next year’s operating expenses, as well as the multi-million-dollar costs associated with chip tape-out.

My opinion is I only wish the decision to tape out Akida 1500 was made a year ago as I believe it could have been. Glad it's happening finally yet long in the tooth imo.

Well that's what I would have said a couple of months ago, but it looks like the whole Akida circuit design has undergone a total overhaul recently

https://brainchip.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Akida1-IP-Product-Brochure-V2.1-1.pdf

Akida 1
...
Self-contained neural processor
• Scalable fabric of 1-128 nodes
Each neural node supports 128MACs

...

I'm guessing that the 1500 is still basically the same as Akida 1 minus the ARM Cortex processor, which would thus mean that 1500 supports 128 MACs per node. The MACs are 4*4 MACs.

I also wonder if the 1500 can be provided as an M.2 or PCIe board. That would involve some changes via MetaTF so the resident processor could supply the necessary configuration functionality that the ARM Cortex provides for Akida 1.

The supply of 1500 chips on their own indicates a fairly sophisticated customer who has the ability to perform the precision soldering to have the chip attached to a PCB.

EDIT: I should qualify this by saying that I do not know for sure that the Akida circuit has been changed, but the MACs are new to me.
