BRN Discussion Ongoing

Bravo

If ARM was an arm, BRN would be its biceps💪!
This is interesting.

TokenRing’s latest article on Intel’s Panther Lake and 18A process specifically mentions neuromorphic computing as one of the next big trends in AI hardware, particularly for Edge AI and IoT devices.

It states "Experts predict the emergence of increasingly hybrid architectures, combining conventional CPU/GPU cores with specialized processors like neuromorphic chips, leveraging the unique strengths of each for optimal AI performance and efficiency."

I think it's a pretty important shift in that neuromorphic isn’t being treated as a far-off research topic anymore. Now grouped alongside NPUs and AI accelerators as part of the next generation of compute.

Intel’s 18A process may enable smaller, faster, denser AI chips but it still faces the same efficiency walls that neuromorphic architectures are built to overcome. The fact it’s being acknowledged in the same breath as leading-edge silicon says a lot about where the market’s heading.

The key point in this for me is that mainstream recognition of neuromorphic computing is growing and BrainChip is well-positioned as one of the few companies already commercialising it.

I believe it's supposed to say "milli-watt", not "million-watt"!

Million-watt? That’s enough juice to power a nuclear reactor. ⚡🚨

How embarrassing...

Million-watt glasses upon your head,
One blink and half the block’s dead!
Akida’s so hot, no chip could match her,
Forget low power - we’ve built a nuclear reactor!

Once there was a silly old ram
Thought he'd punch a hole in a dam
No one could make that ram scram;
He kept buttin' that dam

So any time you're feelin' bad
'Stead of feelin' sad
Just remember that ram
Oops, there goes a billion kilowatt dam
Oops, there goes a billion kilowatt dam

I don’t know if it’s because we are taking to much attention to Brainchip related stuff… but it’s really ridiculous now…

Consider that Figure A.I.'s official release date of Figure 01 was March 2nd 2023.

Just over 2 and a half years development..

Unitree's robots, are now doing fluid Kung Fu.
Tesla's Optimus, is also progressing.

"Try" to picture, just 5 years from now.
Things are moving quickly.

Actually, after watching "most" of the full clip, I think I'd rather watch paint dry..
As much as I hate to admit it, I think China is eclipsing the West in humanoid robotics..

They call it's new abilities "anti-gravity" mode.
But can it do your washing?..

Some may think it's just A.I. CGI, but seeing as the Chinese had a car that could literally jump, 9 months ago, I think it's genuine.

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to give you all a quick update. Some of you have noticed that I’ve been absent lately — and you’re right, I have.

In short, I suffered a workplace injury that’s left me dealing with a lot of anxiety and stress. While I’ve traditionally worked in a high-tech capacity (and yes, as a few of you super-sleuths figured out), I’m now doing lawn mowing and property maintenance in my local area. This is actually part of my treatment and recovery plan.

I’ll still be checking in from time to time — cleaning up abusers, keeping things in order, and making sure the place runs smoothly — but please understand that using technology can still be quite traumatic for me. That’s the only reason I go quiet at times.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Hi Zeebot,

We all owe you a debt of gratitude for applying your technical expertise to developing this troll-free forum where we can exchange information, research, analysis, insights, speculation, discussion and humour.

No doubt the landscapes of Zeebotville are benefitting from your topiary skills now.

It’s good to have a second string to your bow because I expect to see an Akida GenAI FP32 Zeebot model running the site in the near future.
