AVZ Discussion 2022

Winenut

GO AVZ!!!!
Everytime you post things like this it drives me more closer to admitting AVZ gave me alcoholism , so the question is will us alchols receive any compensation to buy more ?? asking for a friend

Really appreciate you asking on my behalf Pokok

So far I'm still hearing The Nige continues to work on a decent payout such that those of us afflicted will be able to purchase "sheet loads of the good stuff" in the not too distant future

Contemporaneously satisfying all AVZ shareholders and providing adequate "compensation" for the alcohol addled bretheren....

Whilst negations are underway I see the issue is that Kobold are fixated with the $240mil number for 24% partnership deal we struck with CATL back in 2021.

As everyone knows the deal then and what we are seeking are polar different in every aspect. CATL and AVZ were to become partners and build and mine together, where-as the deal between AVZ and Kobold is for them to purchase all shareholders shares, we move on they mine with a partner and then operate the largest lithium mine on the planet.

Now unless Kobold seek a suitable partner with significant cash reserves (example: RIO), I cannot see how Kobold can close this deal out in the short term.

Right now I see the options as the following:

1) Kobold provide an upfront offer to shareholders at 35-60US cents + Royalties and a multi-year special dividend based on shareholder holding.
2) Kobold offer a higher price 70US cents - $1.20US if they can secure a strategic partner to build and operate Manono or they secure funding in the coming 6 months through a private equity raise. Remember Kobold eventually want to be listed - Given the large backers of Kobold I sure it will eventually list at a premium.
3) CATL / CATH purchase an increased stake within AVZ and become majority shareholder. They become the voice piece with the DRC govt, they also own the Mining Licence, they build the mine. AVZ re-lists on either ASX or US exchange.
4) We continue on the ISCID journey for the coming few years and lock up Manono.

Again just my thoughts.
If that's what Kobold are thinking they are f--king dreaming .I'd add to that Kobold also saw what Zijin paid for CDL . You say Locking up Manono , but you really mean locking up Roche Dure . CDL the potential 1 Billion tonne monster is also Manono . Locking up Roche Dure is playing right into China's hands . Strand Roche Dure for Years while Zijin rape all the Lithium they need from CDL and dominate the World Lithium market completely unchallenged . No , stranding Roche Dure is a lose lose bad idea . If Kobold are not going to cough up a fair price now they sure as sh1t ain't gonna cough it up in 3 years time . Nigel needs to close out a deal now . If Kobold/US are serious they will find the $$$ . IMO

Guys and gals, WIno will open our old Zero Troll conversation again.

apologies in advance to some of the new users who may not get invited, we will do our best to let most people in.

We all came over to this site to get away from the fucking shit posts and constant trolling on HC, mainly you cretin

If you don’t get an invite, our “committee" think you’re a troll - sorry about that

We’ll be back here once Zeeb0t returns and deals with a backlog of issues

Gday Xerof ,
I messaged Winenut last week but haven't heard back so I'm guessing the "committee" thinks I'm a troll ? If any of the committee has time , feel free to check my posting history dating back to January 2020 on AVZ at the other site . From that history you'll also see I've been shafted by PSC (questionable Chinese takeover) , which is another reason I despise Chinese businesses/CCP so much . Hoping the committee might reconsider ?

Reading between the lines of this, and the rather well timed Australian article with Geo, there is a bit more to this post than meets the eye..... "Fixated" is a term which i suspect is very much from the horses mouth considering its never been mentioned elsewhere.... This clearly explains "billions apart" in the article. Good luck and fingers crossed for a good result to the long suffering share holders. We are overdue some good luck considering we are sitting on the worlds largest deposit.

yeah same here messaged winenut, numerous times in the top rated post on the other site, relating to AVZ, invited to the road show in melbourne a few years back and then participated in last years raising, anyone in the know would realise to do that only the sharholders with serious numbers of shares got that phone call. so if the committee wants to touch base to make sure im the real deal happy to do so,

Back in 2024 since when Kobold Metals hold 80% stake in Zambia's Konkola West Project (aka Mingomba Copper mine) their president Mr. Josh Goldman once said:
1754396611359.png

where I think he is right. I think AVZ has a great project. ;)
It is mentioned Kobold already spent about 150-200million US dollars (expected to invest up to 2billion US dollar) to this project alone which has potential to be the worlds Top3 largest Copper mines (output) ... For this reason alone, Kobold Metals and ZiJin are competitors in (copper) mining industry. This year Kobold and its partner ZCCM Investments Holdings PLC want to start with drilling and sinking of shafts ...

Zambias Ministry of Mines and Minerals Development
1754401724805.png

Interestingly this project is also heavily affected by the success of the Lobito corridor (!) and futhermore Kobold has a big supporter in Breakthrough Energy Ventures (ever heard of?) --> Breakthrough Look Book // Profile and --> Investors (Bezos + Gates again)

(PS: RioTinto also invested in AI based mining modelling tech. --> GeologicAI Raises $44M Series B)

I think a lot parallels can be seen here and also the differences but it is pretty clear to me that Kobold Metals will need strong partners (probably locals included) to finance this project.
It is also a huge benefit from AVZ in having done so much drilling before and when it comes in the end that Kobold will hold the project then they are in timely comfortable situation in just feeding their modelling tech. with all the cores.

Feel free to look for "Kobold Metals Zambia allegations" in e.g. Google and KI replies ... it is not all gold (or copper or lithium). :)

(Sorry - I had a few minutes ...)

I have to message Wino myself come to think of it as it seems like it’s getting pretty fucked here and wondering where you had all gone.

Nigel used to give a lot of, nod, nod, wink, wink we are on the inside track "connections at top levels of government", saying things without saying things. Now maybe that's just charisma and I should have given a lot more weight to the risks of DRC/Africa (though I just bought more A11 :ROFLMAO: so ill never learn my lesson).

For me as long as NF stayed as clean as he said, dotted all i's crossed all t's, never agreed to give up the north, never agreed to the separation of the tenement, stayed away from bribes etc and we win all the legal cases. I am happy but if there is a single half measure or smoking gun, I will be jumping on whatever bandwagon to get as much ROI as I can (same one I am on now).

I agree our best course is to stick with our BOD but I don't think us retail investors know close to all the facts, we always seem to be the last to find out stuff others already know.

Not on DuckDuckGo!

I work in advertising. So definitely aware of keeping the devil away from my own door!

Wasn’t taking the piss anyway, just thought it was a funny coincidence after your equally funny story.
You do realise that SEO optimisation picks up on your search history and feeds you advertising based on what you've been looking at right?

Programmatic targeting. Look that up.

Wow, if only there were some magical way to reduce China’s grip on the critical minerals market, especially with all the talk of Trump’s “Built in America” industrial revival and the booming EV sector.

You’d think that if someone stumbled across a 50-to-100-year lithium supply and paid for it fairly, even conservatively, it might just undercut China's dominance for decades.

But alas, no such deposit exists. Total fantasy. Definitely not sitting undeveloped anywhere, locked up. Nope.

Apologies for the multiple posts. With sector sentiment turning and lithium prices showing signs of a real rebound, surely this puts added pressure on any serious buyer circling AVZ to stop dragging their feet and meet somewhere in the middle.

If lithium can fall 90% in a few short years, it can just as easily rally, and we're already seeing that momentum start to shift.

I hate nothing more than being forced to fill up your tank and realising it was 40 cents cheaper yesterday. The same goes for strategic acquisitions. Wait too long, and what looked like a bargain today might be an expensive “should’ve” tomorrow.

I really should delete the running 'Opportunity Cost' spread sheet I have calculated out, it's actually keeping me up at night now.
