If I went short on this stock right now, the damn price would shoot straight to the moon….I’d bet my Lamborghini, still gathering dust at the dealer, on it. That’s not Murphy’s Law… that’s the classic “7for7 on your nerves phenomenon”… a timeless tradition when it comes to penny stocks.

As you all know, our 2nd quarter figures and updates on any new activity will be announced within the next 3 days,
I would not be alone in thinking that some solid figures should be emerging, maybe??

"Turning this ship around could be considered a daunting task"

I just hope that Sean has both his hands on the wheel up on the bridge, because the months continue ticking by, and as much as I
believe in our company, the staff and most of all, the technology, we really need to see some sort of friction.

So many great posts, many from Frangipani, talk about detail, I thought I was the only one on this forum with some OCD, of course,
I say that with the upmost respect, love you Frangi...you're a top-class researcher.

Can I ask this question, why has there been such resistance by any company that we have been engaged with to sign an agreement
that bears some sort of revenue, it just doesn't sit right with me after all these years and how our technology has expanded to make
the entire process so simple.... says me, the layman :ROFLMAO:(y)

Anyway, June 2026, that's my personal re-evaluation month...lets go AKIDA 💘......Tech.

What about 9 million that's friction and this year so we have been told by Sean .
Once we see that arrive things will change for brn.

Fair enough, that's your view/opinion on the current projections, let's revisit my points after the fact, fair enough smooth.

Kind regards........Tech.

And yet, less than a week earlier, one of the co-authors, Tarek Taha, will be presenting a differently titled paper by the same group of University of Dayton researchers (plus Simon Khan from AFRL), in which they state that a comparative analysis of their “low-power anomaly detection system for Controller Area Network (CAN)” on Akida and Loihi showed that “Loihi consumes about 91 times less power than Akida”.

View attachment 89049

By the way, those University of Dayton researchers are long-time collaborators and co-authors of Steven Harbour from Parallax Advanced Research (headquartered in the same city, namely Dayton, OH), dating back to the time when he was still working at Southwest Research Institute.
Yes, that statement actually comes from a paper presented at the IEEE ISVLSI conference in July 2023. The paper is titled "Comparative Analysis of Low-Power Anomaly Detection on Neuromorphic Chips for Controller Area Network (CAN) Data", and was co-authored by Tarek Taha (University of Dayton) and Simon Khan (AFRL), among others.
In the study, they implemented an anomaly detection model on both Loihi and Akida chips, using the same CAN dataset. The results showed that Loihi consumed around 91 times less power than Akida for this specific task.
However, it's important to note that this is not a general benchmark. The test was very specific to a certain use-case in vehicular networks, and the result depends heavily on the software setup, optimization level, and even how the power consumption was meassured. Also, Loihi is more of a research platform, while Akida targets edge applications with different design priorities.
So the result is interesting, but should'nt be overgeneralized.

So, what will the response to the revenue figures be?

Here is my guess, keen to hear yours.

< $5m "Probably a part payment of the $9m and little else. Boo BRN" Share price drop to 18c. Bloody Sean.
approx $9m "Must be the AFRL revenue but nothing else. At least we've got it. (very soft) yeah." Share price drop to 20c. Damn Sean.
approx $12m "The AFRL and some engineering support fees??? Maybe a small licensing fee!!!!" Share price holds or small bump up. "Is that all Sean?"
$15m "AFRL plus some good new income. (very loud) YEE HAA" Share price rise with the excitement. Maybe even 30c + Well done Sean.
$20m+ "Must post rocket ship meme on TSE like everyone else will." Share price does a happy dance. Sean, I knew you would do it.

As mentioned by some posters the other day, it will depend on how much the $9m is already priced in. Even though it should appear, we've been kicked in the guts before.

Not long to wait to see how poor my guesses are.

Cheers,
H

The way I see it is that, just as Akida 1 saw the light of day, financial strictures compelled us to abandon chip sales and focus on IP licensing. That left the "low hanging fruit" for the likes of Synsense and reduced our potential customer base by several orders of magnitude. We saw the sales department forced to walk the plank. IP licensing is a whole other ball game.

Akida 1 was, wrongly it turned out, said to be too narrow in its capabilities. Yes, some customers wanted more, but Akida 1 is still winning friends and piquing customer interest in Akida2/TENNs.

As we've learned, IP licensing, despite its attractiveness as a no-cost product, takes a lot longer than chip sales.

And then there's the model-building. You can't sell SNN IP licences to customers who don't have the data to build models. Well that's not quite true. We now sell off-the-shelf models which can be adapted by the customer. But at this stage, the customers need a lot of hand-holding.

One thing I find extra encouraging is the adoption of INT16/FP32 in Akida 3. Because that will be a much larger chip. it will be much more costly than INT8 Akida 2.. It will also be much more "accurate" in classifying input signals. Now I don't think that this is for DVS or lidar, because they are inherently low information density (sparse) signals. This could include, for example, high speed video or micro-Doppler radar. So I think this has been developed as a speciality product for a well-heeled customer who needs high accuracy with the latency benefits of SNN/TENNs. Uncle Sam has deep pockets when it comes to defence. US is developing a starwars defence system to guard against hypersonics.

So I have a feeling that Akida 3 is being developed for US DoD according to their requirements. This is, of course, pure speculation and, as always, burn after reading.

This article explains why companies have to be very careful about making announcements.
"The use of ‘ramping announcements’ has been on ASX’s radar for some time now. Listed companies should carefully consider the content of and language used in market announcements."
This would incLude partnerships with global companies and contacts.
BRN is in a sector that can tun on news, eg the Mercedes issue.
Even ASX announcing a partnership with ARM could be an issue getting past the ASX IN OUR SECTOR

See Brainchips latest Code of conduct (version 2 23rd July 2025)
BRN - Code of Conduct
See Shareholders communication policy (Version 2 23rd July 2025)

While neither document explicitly spells out rules for employee social media use, they imply that any public-facing communication—including online posts—must align with BrainChip’s legal obligations and ethical standards.

Thanks to Muhammad Yudansyah’s LinkedIn profile, we now know that AKD1000 has been evaluated for radar-based Human Activity Recognition (HAR) at the Microelectronics Center of Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia in recent months.

We may find out more (eg. source of financial support for this project) from the conference paper on real-time SNN-based HAR on edge neuromorphic hardware he co-authored, in case it gets accepted for APCCAS25, the IEEE Asia Pacific Conference on Circuits and Systems that will take place in Busan, South Korea in mid-October (or gets published elsewhere).

There seems to have been some sort of update on the DeGirum AI Hub Model Zoo webpage four days ago:

Not sure what it looked like before (or whether it even existed), but this is what it looks like now:
