Congolese defense associations and four former directors of Gécamines have filed a complaint against 9 members of the family of the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Félix #Tshisekedi, for the plundering of minerals in the provinces of Haut-Katanga and Lualaba, before the Belgian justice system, targeting nine members of the family of the President of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Félix Tshisekedi, for the looting of mining sites in the provinces of Haut-Katanga and Lualaba. These 9 members of the Tshisekedi presidential clan (sister-in-law, son, brothers, cousins, and even the country's first lady), presented as "co-authors and accomplices of acts of corruption" during the plundering of mining sites. The complaint has been submitted to Federal Prosecutor Ann Fransen by lawyers Bernard and Brieuc Maingain. The 9 accused are all Belgian citizens and can be prosecuted by the Belgian justice system. Are these cases surfacing just now, because FT is trying to do a deal with the USA?
It would not surprise me that the Chinese have their finger prints all over this. Why not 12 months ago?
Felix's entourage being fraudulently active ripping the DRC off is nothing new.

China absolutely does not want the USA broker a deal with FT, it is not just the money.
It has much more to do with the power games China can play at the moment, with their almost monopoly over rare earths. They have the entire world by the nuts atm.
China is even using it in their battle with the USA over tariffs.
China will use any possible dirty trick one can dream up, to stop FT making any deal with the USA, including lithium.

In my opinion it is also exactly the same with Locke taking AVZ to court just now.

And Chaina of course saying, it isn't me, I don't know nothing!

And at the same time, the rumours coming from China that Xi Jinping is really Xi Limping are becoming stronger every day.
I don't know if they push people out of windows in Beijing, like they do in Moscow.
But if I was Xi, I would stay away from windows, better safe than sorry.

Sadly Cominière S.A. doesn't understand that the ICC doesn't believe their bullshit.

It is the reason Cominiere has not had one single win in Paris.
The ICC has handed down a Partial Award, dated 10 March 2025, in respect of the liquidation of the accrued penalties for Cominière's non-compliance with the emergency orders, and ordered that Cominière pay a penalty of €39,125,000 plus interest.

Yep, I think this confirm that deal is done. Cominiere as Wombat said will try to twist it as their victory. Cominiere are trying hard to show everyone that they are important, but actually they are bunch of losers and like kids they have to try to convince everyone that they won. Their President is desperate, International courts are against them, Americans don't want them! So they will keep the north with Zijin, but still very important for them to tell the world that AVZ will not build because Cominiere will not let us. Absolute retards!

Perhaps the dominoes will fall once the last 5% is proved in ICC which gives us the 75% we always knew we had.
Then the Presidents sign the Peace Deal in the Oval Office with Trump and more dominoes fall.
Would still like the ICSID to get underway and reveal all and put beyond all doubt who the trouble makers have been and how business is done in the DRC.
We may not ever see any winnings/awards but the truth will be out there and undeniable as to what we did in terms of exploration and deals, all above board.
USA then ensure the deal is done correctly and fairly to all parties satisfaction. Only issue for us then is the “fair” price which I think is the sticking point, then hightail it out of DRC and never refer to it again.

Just my thoughts after my 5th latte this morning whist contemplating what time to hit the pub to get a prime seat and watch my Blues cop a pasting from the Brisbane Lions whilst downing pots.
