I wonder how BRN fits within this collaboration with the Canadian University

What you’ll learn:

  • What are spiking neural networks?
  • What is neuromorphic computing?
  • Where does BrainChip’s Akida fit in?

Spiking neural networks (SNNs) are an implementation of neuromorphic computing, an aspect of artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML). Neuromorphic computing emulates the operation of physical neurons like those found in the human brain.

SNNs have a similar layered model connectivity as other artificial neural networks (ANNs). However, SNNs use an event- or pulse-based distribution of information through the network whereas ANNs exploit wave-based distribution. As a result, SNNs are more power-efficient.

In this episode of Inside Electronics, Electronic Design’s Senior Content Director, Bill Wong, talks with Steven Brightfield, Chief Marketing Officer at BrainChip, about SNNs and the company’s Akida platform.

Akida is available as IP for inclusion in custom chips and is licensed by companies like Renesas. It’s also available from BrainChip (see figure). An M.2 version is in the works.

One of the 1st and best interviews I’ve listened fully too.

I like the way Steve talks about where the puck is going......and Brainchip is going where the PUCK is going 15.35 minute in the interview
now lets look deep into that statement. Who plays with PUCKS
where is MB testing things somewhere north of America I believe, is this just a slip of the tongue or a direct link as to where the action is taking place.

We were told quite some time ago when we learned about SiFive that RISC-V presented a good opportunity for Akida.

Now we can add Andes and Frontgrade Glaiser.

Given that all the RISC-V processor makers are in fairly early stage development compared with CPU?GPU makers, the possibility of broad adoption of Akida for RISC-V looks promising.
I seemed to remember PVDM stating maybe 5 years back that he felt (paraphrased) RISCV would be a good earner for BRN.

The Company advises that 103 million fully paid ordinary shares, which were subject to voluntary restrictions, will become eligible for trading on 1 August 2025. These shares were issued under arrangements that restrict on-sale within the first 12 months

More selling pressure coming 1st of August.

103 million shares from last years CR.

Only three more months and they are allow to sell them.
More selling pressure coming which means more shorters pressure.

Great job Sean… you have used the $22 million wisely.

Why should they sell? How can you tell now? The SP is going up, there might be good news still coming, so I do not see a reason to sell.
Those who bought the stocks with restrictions are not traders, they are long-time holders!

Investors like everyone else expect a return, but Sean’s track record doesn’t give me confidence that he can pull off a miracle within the next three months.
