Did anyone notice the sentence below? They are putting more pressure on the job to be done!

Wha happened to the sales manager they already had in Japan?

Did they have one? Or wasn't it somebody just doing this part-time?

Honestly, if this is real, it doesn’t come across as very positive. It almost sounds desperate…not exactly the message you wanna send out. Isn’t this the kind of thing you’d mention in a conversation rather than post publicly? Maybe just leave it out or something..?. If anyone here has a personal connection to the team, maybe give them a heads-up. And if you guys are reading this… come on. Really?

Please… one contract at your first year… at least a deal or something… anything… please!!!

Believe you are remembering Edward Lien, Reg Sales Mgr in Taiwan. I believe him to still be there and the position in Japan is new and additional.
But I don't know,.....just me weighing in. Regards, dippY

It’s part of Sean’s 5 year plan .

He said to the board “ at the 3.5 year mark I will not have delivered any signed licence agreements , but it’s at this point in time when l’ll employ someone that will have one signed within 12 months.

CEO master plan 101 , brilliant Sean

Guess BRN have geography issues...or just the usual lack of attention to detail

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Market Expansion: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand BrainChip's presence in the Korea market.

Yeah, that bar’s basically on the floor at this point. One deal a year after 3.5 years into a 5-year plan? That’s not a strategy,
You’d expect momentum to be building by now, not coasting on minimal expectations.

Come on man..Who says this is part of the 5-year plan? Do you have insider information? That’s completely made up and just thrown in here. Repeating it now only shows even more that you’re trying to stir things up. I don’t like that it’s in the job description either, but it doesn’t say anywhere that it’s part of the 5-year plan. So let’s keep things in perspective and dial it down a notch.

As an outsider, given the limited information provided, it appears that the five-year plan is not working.

It’s incredible that after five years since Akida 1000 was released, we’re only expecting a minimum of one deal over the next twelve months.

and that too from a newly created hiring position.

Why not hire 1,000 salespeople, each tasked with securing just one deal per year? That way, Sean can get 100% of his bonus.

Isn't it doubly wrong then?

Firstly because it should say “in the Japanese market” given the role involves travel inside Japan only.

And secondly, even if it was for a sales rep in Korea, which it isn’t, it should say “in the Korean market” not “in the Korea market”?

Don’t interpret too much in this… it’s just a mistake by copy and paste… they forgot to change it from Korea to Japan… something like this happens.. we are all humans
