Something else that came back to me while reading another article on critical minerals: US has already used the Defense Production Act to enable military support of critical minerals objective.
Im no legal scholar so don't the direct impact of this, but it shows the US has already taken serious steps towards tying military objective to strategic mineral objective, which I assume helps whatever framework theyre looking to develop with DRC.

I remember a year or so ago when Felix went to China and I came on here stating that there's a chance China offered military support to our detractors to help keep a stranglehold on their country, and every man and his dog called me toilet or one of the many other wankers. Now America comes along and does the same but its possibly in our favour its ok to bring that up
Unfortunately, as much as toilet and co are toxic as fuck, so too have been 50% of this forum at times, one particular member even wanting to have me arrested(attempting to report me to ASIO and instructing others to do the same) for pointing out Isreals crimes on twitter, gatekeeping like ;ol mate Celeste in a chinese brothel. Now Isreal are up on multiple international war crimes and America are offering military aid and competing with China. How the tides have turned on all fronts
Anywho, lets hope we can all get along and the current turn of events results in the appropriate amount of $'s in our bank for all our misery and risk we took on this one

there hasn't been much evidence of china offering military support, not in the past nor now, so why would anyone entertain statements to that effect?
the USA has announced that they ARE offering military support in exchange for the minerals deal. seems like a completely different thing.
but yes I agree. Nige even mentioned at/around the time of the AGM that expectations need to be realistic or something like that, so I'll just trust that he will get us the best possible deal that he can - no matter what it ends up being - because we just arent privvy to all the information and things happening in the background

I get it, I just mentioned it was something to consider at the time considering the crazy stranglehold they seemed to have over the DRC. Unfortunatley some were extremely highly strung at the time, and apparently if you're newly emerged to some here then you have just to eat teh dick of those who post the most for months before being able to add your opinion, there's no excuse for their behaviour, it was a good indication of their character though. All but a few jumped on the band wagon too, with Mr.genocide backer leading the tribe and taking everyone into the abyss with him and then taking it to ASIO
whilst at the same time playing the victim, ironic behaviour considering who he was backing. It was indeed one of the most pathetic displays ive seen from a grown man in my life(but typical of the mindset), and I remeber all the ring leaders jumping at shadows permenently as if our situation had brought them to full blown psychosis. "oh he's got the same name as me, for sure he's working for MAGA", "oh he's newly emerged and talking about some negative stuff, im gonna post a troll gif to him 20 times and tell him he's turning this in the crapper then find Anti-genocide posts on his twitter and report him to ASIO" enough of that, hopefully a lesson for many, and hopefully no matter how bad it gets, the overly paranoid gatekeepers can stay rational from now on. Now onwards, and upwards.
