heaps bigger but not a producer, not even close.
Producing yet or not matters a hell of a lot more when its a purely business-based acquisition.

When it's a geopolitical play between 2 global superpowers, I think the scale, umm... tips the scales 😛

Can someone smarter than me, most of you I’m sure, quickly explain how we sell this thing? Say Trump steps in and gives Felix a good paddlin and agrees to help out with his M23 problem and in exchange we get our rights back and the ML, Nigel (bless him) realises mining without owning the biggest military force in the world is problematic because of the corrupt dogs that run the country. So says let’s entertain offers. Now Elon Tusk steps in says I’ll give you the equivalent of $2 per share. Nigel says, thanks mate I’m into it let me check with the shareholder base. Then what? Do we vote? What’s the majority required? Thanks in avzance

how often has a turn of events, or additional events happened and we've said "fuck you could make a movie out of this, how's the plot twists..."

and well, here we are again... a year ago, who would have been tripping out on mushies thinking donald trump and possibly elon musk could ride in on horses and possibly save avz's day... due to the fact rwandan backed m23 rebels were striking the fear of god into felix... so felix needs trump's help and trump is desperate for felix's resources due to chinese monopoly and imposed restrictions... fark me.

in short, before one of the whiz's like carlos put's a 3 page technical essay down on it off the top of his cranium, it would need voting on...

the main thing i believe they'll try to do to make it all better tax wise is to have our shares bought off us in AVZ, rather than the project... to enable capital gains discount on the sale of our shares.... or rollover relief should we get shares in the acquiring company and dont wish to cash them in and pay tax...

I'm not worried about capital gains tax - the ability to buy shares that plummet 70% from my buy in price gives me plenty of scope to offset capital gains.😂😂😂
I look forward to a dedicated capital gains tax dodging thread because the f#cking useless Australian government doesn't deserve the hundreds of millions they will receive in cgt from the sale of AVZ. Penny Wong and Albo on the radio this morning dribbling on about some lady picking up a baby wombat. FMD!!

Could not agree more!! Not to mention the literal millions in tax dollars spent to create a critical minerals stance that is then completely ignored along with 20k citizens.

This is exactly why I want a capital return and not Income. 10% CGT in SMSF and 25% in my company (no discount available but there are other tax reducing methods available). Not to gloat, but my buy-in is 7c to 10c so I'm watching with laser vision...

ICC/ICSID pressure has reached steaming point. The pot has been on the boil for a while and Felix the pussycat is starting to look like a soaked feline in a balmy stinky asian pho soup shop. Something was about to give....

CATH have all of a sudden become the saving grace, but fortunately for them, their crystal ball was working long before Trump has chucked his hat in the ring. CATH were very much aware of Trumps chess game long before they stumped up the cash, lets say it was a very smart calculated investment.

Trump goes bunta on the universe and says I'm gunna tax all you bastards out there for crap that comes in to the US of A, we're going manufacturing baby.

Trump asks Elon, "hey babe, whaddya need for you and I to make the green moula beyond comprehension??"... Elon says "gimme energy"..
Trump goes "Sure Elon, lets go grab the biggest Li resource in the world and whilst we're there send em bombs, army and feel good vibes in exchange for a spot in between Felixs' silky bed sheets and we'll probably jag some other tasty minerals they have".

The Oz government is a freaking disgrace still.

Zijin basically has zero fire power now. CATH will still have some form of sway depending on how strong/weak Trump goes with Felix.

I'm thinking a figure of $10-20B will be the buyout price, Nige walks away with a pair of golden balls and us early shareholders who got in early days and held on will be millionaires.

All my opinion, could be BS.

PS. IF anyone has any spare shares for sale, I'll take em..

Who was it that mentioned the days till ISCID starts? What's the date. I'm thinking another counter might be in order.
