I am a bit confused here. Is not that PVDM resigned from CTO as of 31st Dec,2023.
So either the meeting was in 2023 or PVDM cannot be the CTO

Hi, FF.
Unfortunately Microchip announced today that it is laying of some workforce, and management are taking 20% pay cuts, due to a drop off in sales.
But I guess the upside of that is, that they will pushing very hard to get new product out there, hopefully, with our tech on board.

Regards,
John.
Hi John
The alternate view is that Microchip recognising that AKIDA technology will replace all existing technology they no longer need such a wide staff coverage of different technologies and can pair back in the areas which will disappear first starting with GPU’s. 😂🤣😂🤡🤣

FF

You are right. I have not read the following pages yet (and there are many of them this morning ...), but in Germany we were having +24,95%🥳🥳.
I can't wait to find out why ... *reading*

Edit: And it is still going up ... more than 26% now.

White Horse.
When companies lay off staff they are generally doing it to survive either by cutting costs and waiting to ride out the slump ( we don’t want anything to do with this type) or they downsize in obsolete or non profitable areas and bolster the R&D and focus on making a new signature product for their company to regain their position amongst their peers.
So hearing Microchip and Erickson have laid off staff is sad for those employees but pleasing for an investor if they are truely looking forward.

I am satisfied that some of those sensational Bravo’s of the world, backed up by sensational people with good memories or dodgy knees have found and dissected a few bread crumbs showing that these two companies are playing in a space we want them to play.

whilst there is churn in the IT world it is not despair rather a mad rush to use the next big thing.

We just need to be sure that we research enough to allow you to be pointed in the direction of whatever that new ubiquitous IT device may be.

Neuromorpic hardware section from page 75. Akida mentioned on page 83. Numerous mentions that their preferred architecture is based on 22nm FDSOI

Hi D
They should have asked Diogenese he would have told them they prefer 22nmFDSOI. He has been saying that since forever.

Think how much money they would saved by just asking Dio when they need to know something. 🤡🤡🤡

My opinion only DYOR

Akida 1000 includes an ARM cortex processor to configure the NN.

Akida's re;liance on a "full host processor" is cited as a critical gap (This feels like de ja vu):

In other words, the ARM cortex is seen as excess baggage.

However the project envisages breadboarding the NN with a CPU/GPU:

This would be a perfect fit for Akida 1500, where the CPU/GPU could be used to configure Akida 1500 as a stand alone chip.

Of course this is two steps back to go one step forward, as the optimal solution would include Akida IP incorporated with the CPU IP in a single SoC.

I'm Spartacus!
It is part of the modus operandi of shorter's to come on forums such as this to trash stocks in the hope of influencing holders negatively and driving share prices lower so they can get a cheaper entry.
After obtaining their parcel they will generally promote the stock in the desire of driving the price higher at which point they can sell for a generally modest profit thus completing their trade.
Rinse and repeat provides a living for some.
This is characteristic of a parasitic relationship.
