Thought we should keep a tracking record of changes to 13359.

This is star date 26 May 2023, as my laptop shows it.

If anyone has old ones post them here, with a relevant date

I couldn't see on but if there's already a thread, let me know and I'll just add to that, and delete this

redundant

I’ll be fucked if I know what that thread was Sammy and X so I’m bringing this thread out of redundancy with this post from Cruiser because apart from the Corruption thread, I couldn’t find another thread dedicated to just CAMI….

For the first time in the history of the Mining Cadastre, after the implementation of Ordinance No. 23/007 of June 26, 2023 made public on August 1, 2023, appointing its new agents, it was held on 22 August 2023, the very first CAMI Board of Directors.

This meeting brought together all the directors under the chairmanship of the Honorable Crispin MBINDULE, Chairman of the Board of Directors. This first Council is of paramount importance in the management of the mining domain and the titles granted by the CAMI to which eyes are turned for the impact of its work on the increase in State revenue.

This is in line with the vision of the Head of State, His Excellency Félix-Antoine TSHISEKEDI TSHILOMBO, as well as with the leadership of the LUKONDE II Government through the Minister of Mines, Ms. Antoinette NSAMBA KALAMBAYI.

As a reminder, the current committee was officially installed on August 9th.

When energy forges the Union: CAMI and ANSER seal an electrifying pact for the future

August 17, 2023 will remain engraved in the annals of interinstitutional collaboration while Mr. Paul MABOLIA YENGA, eminent Director of the Mining Cadastre, had the privilege of welcoming with distinction a high-ranking delegation from the National Agency for Electrification and Energy Services in rural and peri-urban areas, more commonly known as ANSER. At the head of this delegation was Mr. Idesbald CHINAMULA, the enlightened Director General of ANSER, accompanied by the Technical Director and the expert head of the department dedicated to partnerships.

This transcendental meeting was the incubator of fiery discussions around a convergence of interests between these two institutional pillars. The cardinal purpose of these talks was to establish a substantial alliance between the Mining Cadastre and ANSER, thus federating their resources to catalyze the post-extraction phase by providing indomitable technical support to mining companies in their local government electrification company. The current panorama of the mining sector of the Democratic Republic of Congo has been revealed in the spotlight, illuminated by the sharp analyses of the Director General of CAMI. He stressed the energy embrace that is stifling the growth of the sector, thus giving way to the evanescent partnership between CAMI and ANSER.
As an access to the mining world, CAMI is becoming the vital gateway to the electrification of rural areas, where the stigma of mining projects are felt.

Supported by the operational arsenal of ANSER, a real armed arm of the Congolese State in the field of electrification off the beaten track, this synergy promises to be the melting pot where a pragmatic approach will flourish with regard to the electrification of local communities, while remaining in harmony with the specifications that weigh on mining companies in operation.

As expressed by the director of CAMI, "Electricity is the vital fuel of the mining industry and the propellant par excellence of the underlying development; combined with the know-how of ANSER, it can breathe life into a prolific partnership, working for the benefit of our fellow citizens in rural and peri-urban areas". It is nothing less than an ode to unity in the sustained pursuit of sustainable development and economic growth, that these two bold entities bear as a banner. A symbiosis that, without a doubt, will leave an indelible imprint on the plot of time and the progress of the nation.

First job - issue a cease and desist notice to Zijin for trespassing on the hydro site, then allow AVZ Power to get on and refurbish it, once that other woman has issued the decree, and CAMI have sorted out our invoice

Second job - tell Celestine he's blathering out his arse if he thinks he controls the hydro facilities in DRC

In order to discuss the social and economic benefits for the DRC of the lithium exploitation project in the Manono by DATHCOM company, a delegation from AVZ Minerals Ltd exchanged this Tuesday, August 15, with Paul Mabolia and Jacques Muyumba, respectively DG and DGA newly appointed head of the Mining Cadastre (CAMI).

According to a statement from AVZ Minerals Ltd, a copy of which was sent to MINES.CD, it is indicated that this meeting is "of singular importance", especially since it marks the resumption of working sessions between the Mining Cadastre and the Australian mining giant on the lithium exploitation project in the Manono.

"Paul Mabolia was fully satisfied with this initiative and expressed his enthusiasm for the prospects for future collaboration," noted the statement while explaining that the CEO of CAMI also expressed his willingness to "get personally involved", under the supervision of the Ministry of Mines, to "guarantee the success of the Manono project".

The lithium mining project in the Manono is currently of paramount importance to the country, because it has the potential to "transform" the entire Greater Katanga region through the exploitation of lithium, a highly coveted ore.

"The unwavering commitment of AVZ Minerals Ltd to the realization of this project is harmoniously combined with the vision of the Head of State, His Excellency Félix Antoine Tshisekedi, as well as with the senior management of the mining cadastre. This courtesy visit strengthens existing links and lays the foundations for a fruitful collaboration, aimed at achieving the ambitious objectives of the Manono project, "concluded the statement from AVZ Minerals Ltd.

During this meeting at the headquarters of the Mining Cadastre, the delegation of the Australian company was composed of the CEO of AVZ Minerals, Nigel Ferguson; followed by Landry Meya, President of the subcontracting Association and CEO of AKATA RDC; Christian Lukusa, consulting lawyer of AVZ Minerals and manager of Momentum Attorneys & Advisors and Thierry Katembwe, CEO of Weza Investment.
