A great presentation by Sean, he spoke very well and remembering he needs to be careful with what he says without breaching any NDA’s.
Sean is gaining more confidence and can clearly tell he is very excited!

Amongst all the great things Sean said, when he mentioned that by the next update maybe a couple of the EAP’s will allow them to be named, maybe he’s saying that he expects a couple of the EAP’s to sign on the dotted line potentially? Anyway food for thought!

Revenue this year from IP will be amazing, no doubt it’s Renesas because it’s been 14 months!
When revenue kicks in you’d better hold on to your seats!
Hi @chapman89
same thought came to me as well when he said Soon some of the EAP will allow them to be named. For me when ever he has given or asked about BrainChip he said all the time and consistence with it, he said before joining BRN he asked around in silicon valley who are well known ppl which mean BRN is well respected in silicon valley right :)

Hi WW,

Yes that was interesting, but I always assumed anyway that the main way we are assisting data centers reduce power is going to be indirectly through using more & more edge devices that are not using the cloud. The more smart edge devices we get into the world equals less processing for the data centers.

But yes I still thought we would be in data centers to make them smarter & more efficient to.
Ditto, especially after the Dell podcast

All good @TTE. It's definitely a challenge to get a list of customers in black and white.

Can't quite find @Fact Finder's link to Sony yet. But interestingly enough I found a couple of articles that align MegaChips with Bosch.

outstanding find! more dot's getting closer together.....mayhaps Sean was hinting to Bosch? 🤞🍀

I gather from your response that you still believe that Brainchip is using NDA's to hide behind for their own convenience.

I would suggest that you listen again to the presentation and understand that:

1. The CEO did not say as you allege substantial income would not occur until 2025.

2. He did not say as you alleged that there would not be any income in 2022.

3. He did not say as you allege there would not be any disclosures of NDA EAP customers in 2022.

4. He did not say as you allege that product containing AKIDA technology would not come out in 2022.

I suspect however that you will not do so and correct your statements as you could not have made so many errors by simple mistake as you have assured us of your intelligence and business prowess.

I have read every single one of your past posts and did not base my opinion solely on todays effort.

Personally I have not concern for likes, flames or any of the other nonsense if I did I would still be on HC. My concern is that shareholders receive facts and are not manipulated.

See some commentary on Bosch.

From the Daimler Sustainability Report 2020 they happily working with them as well obviously.

With Valeo, much harder to find buried connections though I see they were across BRN early 2019 in a research paper they published which presume led them to the signing in mid 2020.

Great presentation from Sean but one question…he said he didn’t see a data centre use case?
There were some massive data centre power savings suggested previously so wondering if this is no longer the case or if Sean just fully focused on the edge?
I listened to this very closely and have thought about it a great deal. My personal take is that the CEO is laser focused on the Edge. He did not exclude data centres as beyond AKIDA technology but it is clear this is not where he is focused.

Having said this it does not exclude one of the EAP's or future customers exploring this direction and in fact if you revisit the Rob Lincourt DELL Technologies podcast putting SNN compute in data centres was something he spoke about to offload Ai functions.

The Edge market it so big and because of the lead Brainchip has it does not have any real competitors in this space whereas in the data centre space they would come up against some very, very large entrenched players. Players who like Intel can pay customers not to deal with a competitor.

Agree it is very difficult to find a weak link in the Valeo network but the fact that Mercedes has been prepared to reveal their involvement with Brainchip gives hope that with Valeo being a Mercedes partner a Brainchip AKIDA on board reveal might now be more attractive for them sooner than later. Perhaps Valeo is one of the possible disclosures the CEO Sean Hehir was hinting at????

My opinion and speculation only DYOR

One interesting thing I heard from Sean in that presentation was in response to a question about the EAP/NDAs - he gave the usual 'can't comment' line a few times, but also said he was 'working on' being able to say more - I had the impression he is working on/negotiating being able to reveal more about existing EAP partners, even just including 'logos' (mentions 'the logos' at another point)...anyone else hear that?

Move on, nothing to see.
Sean was great as usual

A few things that I liked hearing was a question, are we going to be in Mercedes MBUX system & Sean said he can't talk about it but then went onto say something along the lines of all of our customers are finding multiple use cases for our tech, none of the customers are just using us for one use/product. They are looking at multiple or many use cases.

Another question was about could ADK1000 handle level 4 / 5 ADAS automation, he answered with a long answer but then said yes it can handle it.

Renesas & Megachips are developing products

We are significantly increasing our team this year, in engineering & sales & marketing

The new Marketing guy is building his team right now
Using Akida in the MBUX would be a huge power saving. The GPU currently in there uses 75W. I.e. similar to leaving headlights on high beam.

buena suerte :-)

BOB Bank of Brainchip
Firstly thanks to all who recorded the session and also provided commentary.

All pretty good from my view.

One thing on NDAs.

Seems to be the thinking these are implemented by BRN.

I would suggest they are implemented by the client not wanting their competitors to see what direction they are heading and who with.

I have no doubt BRN would love nothing more to shout from the rooftops who they are working with but as said, suspect it is the clients wanting kept quiet till testing and integration can be effected successfully (or not).
BIG thanks to TechGirl for that one 👏👏

Off topic but I love the Tim Minchin quote -

This is my brain, And it’s fine, It’s where I spend the vast majority of my time
It’s not perfect, But it’s mine. (Tim Minchin)

A genius in my opinion much like Peter Van Der Made, both spending a considerable time here in Perth. Must be something in the water although having been here for 54 years I must be drinking from a different source

If the market knew what our CEO knew and wasn't at liberty to say then the SP would be multiples of where it is now. Some people are happier waiting for this to be public and revenues to be declared and will ultimately pay more for their BRN investment.

Also from the Merc Group.

Bosch and Mercedes-Benz are joining forces to advance the development of fully automated and driverless driving. The two companies have entered into a development agreement to bring fully automated (SAE Level 4) and driverless (SAE Level 5) driving to urban roads by the beginning of the next decade. The objective is to develop software and algorithms for an autonomous driving system. The project combines the total vehicle expertise of the world's leading premium manufacturer with the system and hardware expertise of the world's biggest supplier. The ensuing synergies should ensure the earliest possible series introduction of the secure technology.

The car comes to the driver

By introducing fully automated and driverless driving to the urban environment, Bosch and Mercedes-Benz aim to improve the flow of traffic in cities, enhance safety on the road and provide an important building block for the way traffic will work in the future. The technology will, among other things, boost the attraction of car sharing. It will allow people to make the best possible use of their time in the vehicle and open up new mobility opportunities for people without a driver's licence, for example. The prime objective of the project is to achieve the production-ready development of a driving system which will allow cars to drive fully autonomously in the city. The idea behind it is that the vehicle should come to the driver rather than the other way round. Within a specified area of town, customers will be able to order an automated shared car via their smartphone. The vehicle will then make its way autonomously to the user and the onward journey can commence.

Yeah…in response to my question about how many of the 15 EAP customers are yet to be named he said “…I think we just showed 4 and those are the only ones we are allowed to talk about right now…actually we have a couple of really interesting logo’s we’d love to put on there and you may see some new logo’s…but we have the logo’s…we’re working with them…we’re seeking more permission, so hopefully in the next update you’ll see a couple more names on there”.

Which I take to mean we will hopefully hear about a couple more EAP customers by the next quarterly report due by the end of April?!
