I'm a long term holder of SRL and kind of frustrated with how long it has taken for management to get finance for Sunrise.
But, one thing that has got me very very excited is Rio Tinto buying our direct neighbour (Owendale project, from PGM, principally for the scandium). Surely a behemoth like Rio would be looking at the neighbouring projects too? This area could (should) become a monster nickel/cobalt/scandium/platinum district, I would hope that SRL might be having words with Rio and not just holding out forever for a car manufacturer to come to our rescue. Some kind of joint venture with them could see us getting the shovels out tomorrow.
