Rio Tinto RIO has entered into an agreement to acquire the 11.65% interest in Boyne Smelters Ltd (âBSLâ) from Mitsubishi Corporation MSBHF. The financial terms of the transaction have not yet been disclosed. BSL is located at Boyne Island in Central Queensland and is Australiaâs second-largest aluminium smelter.
