European stock markets pushed higher on Wednesday as the expected resumption of Russian gas supply to the bloc helped lift sentiment.
In London, the FTSE 100 (^FTSE) rose 0.6% after opening, hitting a three-week high, while the CAC (^FCHI) gained 0.5% in Paris, and the DAX (^GDAXI) was also 0.5% higher in Frankfurt.
