The FTSE 100 and European stocks were lower this Wednesday after the worst day in two months for US stocks as investors priced in higher interest rates.
The FTSE 100 (^FTSE) fell 0.50% to 7,937 points at the open, while the CAC 40 (^FCHI) in Paris lost 0.38% to 7,281 points. In Germany, the DAX (^GDAXI) slipped 0.36% to 15,350.
