Mobvoi will soon be launching a smartwatch featuring a set of CardieX Health parameters and an associated heart health ecosystem. This will be a major milestone for CardieX, moving it's central blood pressure know how and Sphygmcor technology from hospitals, labs and clinical trials ( where it's success continues to grow ) into the hands of consumers. While CardieX are working on it's own, FDA cleared consumer devices through the ConneQt division for launch later in 2022, this launch with Mobvoi will be an important step in the CardieX journey towards owning vascular health.

LTH's such as myself become a little impatient waiting for the launch as it has been delayed from timelines originally communicated, but to be honest what hasn't been through Covid and delays with chips etc. So for anyone who is interested, here is a bit of a chronological snapshot of this co-development between Mobvoi & CardieX

Who is Mobvoi

Mobvoi is Googles official partner in China , known for it's TicWatch range, is one of the worlds largest sellers of smartwatches and wearables. It's major investors include Google & Volkswagen.

11/9/2019 - CardieX announces JV with Mobvoi

  1. Co development of consumer health application on Mobvoi line of smartwatches and wearables.
  2. commercial execution to be through Atcor, a CardieX subsidiary.
  3. Atcor responsible for developing set of algorithms & features for implementation in Mobvoi smartwatches and accompanying apps to form smart heart health ecosystem.
  4. Mobvoi to develop next generation smartwatch to intergrate the above.
29/1/2020 - Cardiex Engages MEDL Mobile for App Saas & Cloud Development

  1. development & design of features and applications to be incorporated into the Mobvoi smartwatch.
24/4/2020 - CardieX completes major milestone in development of sensor technology
  1. CardieX announced they can extract a waveform from a ppg sensor that is equivalent to a Sphygmocor derived waveform, a game changing development.
24/9/2020 - Commercial Partnership with Mobvoi for new Heart Health smartwatches announced

  1. agreement to launch a new line of smartwatches with heart and arterial health management features. It will feature Atcor Heart Stress, Arterial Age, Exercise Capacity and Arty Score, plus AI powered health coaching services.
  2. Revenues to CardieX from subscription fees for app premium services, product sale revenues on direct to consumer sales and shared distribution rights.
  3. Mobvoi to guarantee MOQ's for first 2 years after FULL market launch.
  4. Initial market launch 6 months across US & Australia.

Through 2021, the development of the watch has progressed, with an expectation of launch in 2021. For reasons only known to Mobvoi, this has extended to initial launch in 1st Quarter, 2022.

Both CardieX and Mobvoi have employed the services of new PR companies and advertising specialists to jointly develop launch strategies over the last 6 months.

We are now in the final throes of preparation for the initial launch phase in US & Aust.

Mobvoi Smartwatch Update

Pre-launch activities ramped up during the quarter in collaboration with Mobvoi. We have built a pipeline of dozens of key influencers/opinion leaders (KOLs) and global technology media journalists as part of our pre and post-launch marketing and media strategy which is currently under embargo. In addition, customer support systems have been established, product inventory is being built up and final pre-launch testing is underway.

Commercial launch is expected within the current March 2022 quarter, and launch announcement will be made shortly before launch dates in the US and Australia/New Zealand, to be advised by Mobvoi.


And we have seen code from the Mobvoi/Ticwatch operating system that includes juicy tidbits.

So after 2.5 years, we are very close to launching the Mobvoi Smartwatch featuring CardieX Health paraneters.
This thread will capture the excitment and momentum created as all is revealed.

The TicWatch GTH Pro is the first smartwatch to feature ATCOR's patented heart health monitoring technology. The watch also utilizes unique dual PPG sensors to provide insights into general and arterial health through high-fidelity sensing points that track both from the wrist and through the finger. The data gathered from the watch appears on the Mobvoi app which compiles the metrics into five key points of analysis. Combined with Mobvoi's smartwatch technology, ATCOR's heart health metrics give users easy-to-understand insights into their overall wellness and cardiovascular health and include:
