BRN Discussion Ongoing

That doesn't justify the pump before this latest announcement came out.
Maybe it does
If some one knew that they were going to need this money and shorted the stock guaranteed it would crash 💥
Bingo
What a payday

I get the feeling that some people from crapper are slowly joining in here, pretending to be concerned investors pushing for changes in the company. … let me guess… Sean should pack his bags? Same sh..t packed in different wrappers…

Not entirely happy but I can reconcile the logic. It must be supported by another decent deal though by AGM to bolster some confidence back into the mkt.

Meanwhile.....

Unfortunately this is our fate at the moment. To be a pawn of vultures and hyenas. What we need is a solid deal with substance that brings money into the coffers, so we can drive them away like a lion chasing off these scavengers. The time will come.

Ericcson are all over this. good news is that they have been using Akida in their research from at least 2022

A Communication stack prototype for AI-enabled ZE-IoT devices To demonstrate the feasibility of low-energy AI and low-energy communication in a ZE-IoT device, we have built an example use case, as illustrated in Figure 4. The ZE-IoT device consists of a low-power camera, a neuromorphic AI chip (the Akida neural chip from BrainChip), a low-power radio and a solar panel. The application assumes that the camera takes a picture (e.g., when triggered by a motion sensor), runs a neural network to create the neural embedding of the image (i.e., extracts the neural features from the image), and sends the neural embedding vector via a custom radio stack tailored for AI data that implements approximate and intermittent communication.

This makes me wonder. In the early phases could we put pressure on getting a massive license deal by only offering an IP license to 2 firms in an industry and chuck a premium on that and an ACT NOW. Nees some thought but knowing you will have exclusivity in some form could trigger a biddding war.

Keep in mind, though, that Ericsson has been closely collaborating with Intel for years (they even established a joint lab in Santa Clara, CA in 2022), including on the implementation of neuromorphic technology.

At Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2024, Ericsson Research demoed a radio receiver algorithm prototype targeted for Intel’s Loihi 2.

Their paper was published in December 2023.
So how do you know they have been using Akida in their research from at least 2022? 🤔

Today would be a brilliant day for a short squeeze… it would catch them all off guard in their selling frenzy. I’ll make this day my personal holiday if it happens! Wouldn’t that also be a masterstroke from the management?

I’ve been a part owner/supporter of this company for years (check my posting history if you want) but I’m starting to get punch drunk. There’s absolutely no doubt that parties shorting BRN knew this LDA announcement was coming. It doesn’t matter if ultimately this LDA deal is great for BRN the market runs on sentiment and today BRN sentiment is garbage and someone is cleaning up. I’d love to know who the major buyers of shares were during the recent rise. The sheer volume indicates it wasn’t retail. Rant over haha.
Anyway, back to hoping for a substantial IP licensing deal. I’m still confident and I’m thinking TATA. The big learning point for me is now knowing the time it takes to commercialise nascent tech. Until true commercialisation occurs we remain a bourse punching bag. Onward.

You are right. We are in fact cashed up for present needs.
The LDA agreement might have been a condition to a deal in negotiation? The other party may have insisted on significant more cash backing before proceeding?
Otherwise we could have waited before raising.
Perhaps a BRN cashed up signal for those at CES25?
Do I like dilution ...No.... but in this case i think it's very prudent given the financial, political uncertainty in the world not to mention wars etc. etc.
From the previous announcements, AFRL and Frontgrade Gaisler, it would seem to me that Brainchip would need to have a very long runway of cash to satisfy their investment in us.
From the AFRL ASX announcement "AFRL will begin making milestone payments in January 2025. Periodic payments will continue throughout the year concluding in February of 2026. "
AFRL would want to know that we were secure long past February 2026 otherwise their time would be better spent elsewhere. Our product is a clear leader in the neuromorphic / Edge AI space and Brainchip needs to exude confidence to our ecosystem partners (current and future) through, among many things, financial stability.

This is not Financial Advice, DYOR, GLTA

Brainchip is in terms of Akida the clear leader – not hard to be the leader of its own product.

But in terms of customers who are willing to pay for it and in terms of contracts Brainchip is clearly not the leader.

At CES we may see how the market acts in terms of "Brainchip is the leader"!

Yes, currently I am very disappointed about Brainchip!

Hopefully one day I would be able to understand what happens these days at Brainchip!!

I have fully trust to our CTO !
From our CMO I hear nearly nothing!
...let us not talk about our CEO !

yes published in Dec 23 but working backwards from request for access to Akida, planning and delivering the experiment and writing and publishing would take at least a year. Probably more.

Given our recent 2 client wins - Space and USAF and recent statements from Sean concerning more good news coming why would an arrangement for future cash to drive growth be bearish.
It actually sounds bullish.
Forget dilution worries. It's a US company and once listed over their they will join the buy back club.

I'm still very curious as to who will be the subcontractor partner for the AFRL deal.

A big name partner should instill some confidence you'd think.

How does one pay 50c a share when you can buy it in the market for 34c 🤔
Maybe CES 2025 may come to the rescue with some interesting news / announcements to follow !!!

Toth it's a 50c deal, that's a good deal for brn and shareholders. simple math. Happy Tuesday, my return to work day. boomity boom boom
Why is do you think it's 50c deal?

I believe they are stating that an additional minimum drawdown of $20 million is required by no later than June 2026 and they plan to issue 40 million shares during the next capital call or by 30 June 2025, whichever comes first. The issue price will be set at 91.5% of the average daily Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) calculated over the pricing period when shares are sold.

This price is not fixed at 50 cents but depends on the VWAP at that time.

Hopefully, the share price will exceed a dollar by then.
