The guy resigned at the top of his game, with the most support and being most popular Premier in Victorias history, his third term gaining the most seats and votes ever!

Record debt with crippling interest payments that forced him to cut government employees and cancel the commonwealth games is a weird top of his game. All because he trusted the inflation is transitory cooker experts. Ironic.

Just would consider the comments of a few extra few weeks meaning the current extension finishing late September/early October, not another extension.

Nothing to get excited about, or taking a huge gulp of my tequila for.

Fuck me…. I see the usual conjecture and confusion going on here, even after the BOD demonstrated that they are aware of and dealing with the aspects they are having to deal with by announcing new BOD members.

Rather than the usual fear, doubt speculation, why don’t some of you consider that Zijin is fucked, ICC case will proceed and show this to be true and the result of that will be another nail in Kibeya’s coffin.

have to agree with you micky re your thoughts on dan. I classify myself as a swinging voter, have voted labour, liberals and greens at times. One thing I could never understand given the sheer incompetence of Dan is why he got so many votes and won the last election. I put it down to the lack of a credible alternative, the liberals are a shambles and I just hope they can get their act together to ensure it is a much closer contest next time and to hold the labour government accountable. Dan's lockdown, record debt, massive project cost overuns, significant allegations of corruption, his bully boy tactics, etc are some of the many reasons I'm glad hes gone.

re the commonwealth games, I dont have an issue with victoria not having the commonwealth games but the whole thing is typical of his government and their financial management, they announced it pre election, they didnt do sufficient due diligence, then were forced to cancel as they had no money, they pay $500m in cancellation fees and embarrass the fuck out of the state.
