"Your mistake is thinking that MMGA have your best interest at heart. They don't imo"

I don't think anyone here thinks for a second that MMGA have our best interests at heart....
The person I was responding to does. If MMGA get up first thing they will do is cede control of Dathcom. It's literally the entire point of it imo

@Carlos DangerThe mum and dad investors with a happy feeling may not vote at all. I see the shareholder apathy towards voting is the biggest issue.

@Carlos Danger, my respect to you. You always think differently. :)

In which case, those undirected proxies go to the Chair to vote. As per 14.2.2 of the ASX Listing Rules

In other words, anyone who doesn't vote will be voting against the MMGA wankers. So, all good.

School me up @Retrobyte on this statement, as it's news to me.
So, if a shareholder does absolutely nothing to either vote or appoint a proxy, it is deemed that if required, the Chair will vote on their behalf? I'm guessing there would be particular wording required for that in the proxy form and NoM?

If thats correct, that certainly wipes the red noses off these clowns, and we'll leave it to them to wipe their arses as they depart

I'm glad someone is taking the role of shock jock here as that is indeed their only intention, and people need to be fully aware of this.

That is exactly what I was thinking.

Surely the chair is not going to vote in favour of any of those fucked up MMGA fuckers getting a place on the board

To me it looks as though the camp has expanded quite dramatically, does anyone feel the same?
That photo is from May 2023. The structure in the centre that is at frame stage appeared some time between Oct 2022 and may this year. A few workers huts have been completed in the same period in the north east corner.

Go AVZ!
this happens for every GM for any company on ASX... those that dont vote or appoint a proxy are allocated at the chair's discretion... so we don't have to fear those that forget or can't be bothered...

What we do need to be explicitly sure of prior to the AGM is "how" the chair intends to vote on these matters

Wouldn't want to get caught with your pants down....

Nigel has made it very clear that AVZ are willing to accept 51%. Yet we are on day 493 of suspension after receiving a ministerial decree for the licence. Why is that?

MMGA have nominated some of not just Australia's but the world's greatest directors. This is creme de la creme. Iggy Tans going on about he has the lithium dream team, haha he has nothing on MMGA, the if the biggest names in mining. The vast experience just speaks for itself, well ok then um, what about the fact it seems PH was booted from the company by SH, ah, um, well, fuck 😳

@Carlos Danger I agree with your view. There could be undercurrents that is not obvious to general shareholders.
Two things I was worried about: First is the EGM, but that didn't materialise. Those three guys couldn't garner 5% shouldn't be trivialised. The most important thing is when the shareholders vote and that is when the people inside the trojen horse come out and hit us.
Second thing is the percentage of votes. If you look at the previous voting history, only about 30% of votes were casted. The top 20/50 and the unhappy shareholders are going to vote and they can surely sway the decision. Some of the top 20 appears to be with the BoD, but what happens if their hands get twisted. The mum and dad investors with a happy feeling may not vote at all. I see the shareholder apathy towards voting is the biggest issue.
I will vote and I will also ask my friends to vote, come November. Those three are out to steel my money. And yours.
@Carlos Danger, my respect to you. You always think differently. :)
They may have a good % already but wanted to use the AGM instead of EGM as it plays into the uncertainty, it plays into the assertion they don't have enough. Shame the German had a strop and dumped his shares, may have been useful to them at this stage. These guys have never played with a straight bat so im not expecting it now. There will be more shitfuckery no doubt.

An imminent ML would be very much appreciated and surely a fatal if not near-fatal blow to the scum
