APT is now part of Block (formally Square) under the code SQ2. Just letting you know
As no one else has posted here might as well put in my 2 cents although I’m no genius analyst.
Crypto is disruptive and Dorsey is all in with Block. He has the scale the knowledge and most importantly the drive to see his vision become a reality.
By coupling his b2b/b2c square and cash app services with Afterpay’s b2c credit, directory and advertising revenue he has created a beast.
The end goal of course being the super app in much the same way China has WeChat Block wants to be the super app for the US and Europe.
With expansion still under way and margins increasing as it’s existing customers adopt more services within the eco system I see a bright future ahead. Please refer to todays Quarterly if you need a source.
The crypto aspect is important as it is quite obvious, to me at least, that just like with BNPL and Crypto the world always looks for the new, the innovative and the fair. People progress and decentralised currency clearly has a place as do blockchain technologies which are likely to be the future of important documents in the form of NFT’s ie birth certificate, deeds, passports potentially etc
All that being said it’s been interesting to read those that can only say negative things in the face of progress on “the other forum” which I won’t name out of respect for all of you great posters here. I have been reading for probably 10 years on the other forum and never registered, the idea of posting seemed pointless, a better strategy was to dissect the information and disinformation presented and compare that with my own research to see what was real or at least worthwhile.
As I rarely ever post anything I should take the time to thank this community. One of the most well informed and well researched group of retail investors out there. A long time ago most of the other forums commentary was also positive and helpful I made some great investments back then and there are still some undiscovered gems like EMV where the banter is somewhat the same but once it goes up and gets noticed the verbal bashing begins its depressing to say the least and not constructive.
Thank you Zeebot for making a true investment forum where people can strive for success together without all the noise and distractions from those with vested interests in failure.
