There's no doubt that money can be made by owning shares of unprofitable businesses. For example, although Amazon.com made losses for many years after listing, if you had bought and held the shares since 1999, you would have made a fortune. But while the successes are well known, investors should not ignore the very many unprofitable companies that simply burn through all their cash and collapse.

So, the natural question for 4DS Memory (ASX:4DS) shareholders is whether they should be concerned ...

IMO ...... 4DS has potential given IMEC involvement ........ this is a new technology and one has to accept that some fine tweeking of the memory product needs to take place constantly ............ I think they are on the right track with the upcoming 3rd Platform and the new incoming testing equipment ............ this reminds me of BRN 's technological advancements and revamp of Akida chips that are performing a lot better than the original engeniering samples .............. we all have to start somewhere !!!

I noted a small increase in Volume just before the close of trade today of some ~600,000 shares ..... maybe news may come out about the loop somer rather than later !! .... just imo
