The United States and Australia have just finalized a $13 billion agreement on critical minerals:

Where is the DRC?
Earlier this year, we facilitated a productive meeting between the Export-Import Bank of the United States (
@EximBankUS ) and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), during which EXIM proposed a multi-billion dollar financing framework for the development of the Congolese mining sector.
Seven months later, this US-DRC mining partnership remains a proposal, while countries like Australia are concluding historic agreements with the United States in record time. This delay is causing growing frustration among members of the US Congress and within the administration
@realDonaldTrump .
From our perspective, France,
@PaulKagame , Belgium, and certain unpatriotic Congolese actors are deliberately working to derail this strategic partnership between the United States and the DRC.
They know that a strong mining alliance between Washington and Kinshasa would put an end to decades of foreign exploitation of Congo's immense natural resources.
The time to fight back is now. As we assess the situation and identify the DRC's adversaries, we call on the Congolese people to pray for President Felix
#Tshisekedi (
@Presidence_RDC ) and for the
#RDC , as enemies, both internal and external, work tirelessly to sabotage the shared vision of Presidents
#Trump and
#Tshisekedi for a sovereign and prosperous DRC.
