When people are poorly paid it provides a perfect environment for corruption to flourish
If only the DRC could find a way to minimize corruption, start earning legit dollars, getting decent projects honestly off the ground, generate some country wealth with good "win/win" foreign investment in world class mining activities and raise the living standards and wages of all Congolese directly involved and also indirectly through taxes and royalties that can be purposed for the betterment of the wider Congolese population

Just a heads up for those registering for Automic, the first letter of your SRN is a letter, now if it’s an l or I (that is a capital i or small L) it can get confusing as I initially thought it was a 1 because the rest were numbers so took me 3 goes. Anyway you’ll just get a notice in Automic to say your request has failed and you can try and add holding again… Also, HIN won’t work. It will go through the process but won’t go anywhere. And SRN is pretty much instant (once you get it right).

It's a capital "i" so use "I" and HIN is redundant as AVZ through delisting must be an "Issuer" sponsored stock..... hence the capital "i" on the SRN

Aah I figured it out in the end thanks W.N, but didn’t know it was the same letter for everyone! Good to know, might save someone else a bit of pain. Thanks for the info.

Well, i think the dream for everyone who invested in AVZ was to not only create wealth for ourselves, but also play a part in lifting the standard of living for the congolese people via the Manono special economic zone ( rember that ? ) which was purported moons ago but never eventuated.When people are poorly paid it provides a perfect environment for corruption to flourish

Instead, all long term holders of AVZ and the poor congolese people have been betrayed in the worst possible way by the DRC govt who cant see the trees from the brown paper bags shoved in their face....by the the dark side.
The dream is over sadly....( at least for me )

Yes the DRC absolutely extreme level of unbelievable, massive and endemic corruption caught everyone by surprise (particularly with Felix coming in after Kabila on an anti-corruption platform)
But the fight is still on.....
The Congolese and the collective honest international investors in the future of the DRC absolutely deserve better than ongoing corruption, Zijin/ China/CCP influence, corrupt politicians and sell out bureaucrats in positions of power that take 30 pieces of silver in exchange for the future of their fellow DRC citizens
The whole world is watching very fucking closely.......very fucking closely......

I haven't been paying attention to this stock in a while. I got correspondence saying we have a new shareholder liason and I should send my SRN to get on the mailing list... if I am already getting emails I assume I am on the mailing list, or is this a super secret mailing list for holders only?
Basically I just want to know how long before I know if this is a capital loss or I can see ROI, 2 years, 5 years, 10 years?
