Following H&W's post re Karoline Levitt, here is the YouTube confirming it, and noting that for those with short attention spans the video is only 12 seconds long.

Is anyone expecting a deal to be announced in conjunction with the signing of the peace deal this week? It would be on brand for the current US administration and their very short attention span / news cycle

Deal with AVZ? Highly doubt it as Nige said they are in very early discussions with the 3 parties excluding Kobold.

Might get a deal in writing in January I reckon (although I have no evidence of this, just my musing)

No not expecting anything like that. The only thing anyone should expect is to stay in their jobs until at least the end of June 2026.

If an offer is put to shareholders as a result of the current 3 month ICSID suspension we likely won't hear about it until the end of February next year. This is because there are multiple parties which may or may not make an offer and you don't close an auction early. Manono does not have a buy it now button.

If a reasonable offer is made the board has said it will take another 3 to 4 months to put it to a vote and implement the sale if the vote passes. Then everyone should expect some unexpected shitfuckery that will delay things. That's just how life goes.

So put this aside, enjoy the holiday break, and put in some overtime in your jobs next January. The overtime money will be in your pocket long before anything from this investment.

I only say this for everyone's own good. Unwarranted excitement results in disappointment and desperation which can and will be exploited by our enemies.

Lets hope that the fat fukker does not say anything to annoy Trump, noting that the South Africa president meeting with Trump did not end well. However, in this case the DRC has something that the USA wants and hence, maybe Trump will be more accommodating.

'The ceremonial signing at 11 AM EST on December 4, 2025, corresponds to 2 AM AEST on December 5, 2025' ... thank fuck, I can finally stop asking Grok 'When will the US-backed DRC-Rwanda peace agreement be signed?' ... hopefully
